It was $12 for a salad, then +$12 to add meat… Yeah, no one is ordering a salad. 🥗 But the burgers we got was great, the chicken sandwich I got had nice grill marks just hard to chew and the portions was great, and I really liked the mocktails. “Highly recommend checking this place out! It’s been on our list for a while, and we finally made it in last night. It completely exceeded our expectations.
We started with the boneless garlic parmesan wings, which were perfectly crispy and full of flavor. For our mains, we ordered the Backyard BBQ Burger and the Triple Bacon Smash Burger, both served with a large side of fries. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

“On August 25, 2025, before my Delta flight at 3:25 pm, I stopped at the bar and ordered a decaf coffee. The woman behind the counter went above and beyond—she brewed a fresh pot and even offered to make it easier for me to take on the plane. Instead of a regular to-go cup, she poured it into a water bottle so it would be more convenient. Her thoughtfulness was outstanding. I wish I could remember her name.“

“I’ve been going into this location for several months in the morning. The young man with the salt and pepper hair is always so polite and nice. He makes my whole experience so much better. He remembers what I buy every morning and has it ready and waiting for me. Great customer service from this young man! I’ve had previous experiences at this location that were not so nice and stopped going for a long time. He makes my day a bit brighter. Kudos for such a pleasant person Cold Spot!“

“The place has pretty decent food
It's kind of a hidden spot that not a lot of people don't know about.
The food is pretty good but just a little too pricey for what it is.
And sometimes it takes a while to order.“

“Our server (Lillie W) was great! She was very attentive and quick with anything we needed. We ordered a Greek quesadilla, triple Play platter ( adelphia hot boneless wings, fried feta, and mini cheese burgers) Southwest turkey tortilla wrap. Wild and wonderful (blue drink) espresso martini (was missing it's cold foam on top for some reason) the quesadilla was delicious, the boneless wings were on point! Friday was good but definitely filling, the cheeseburgers were good but very greasy and once it lost its heat it got dry. The rap was good and the drinks were delicious 😋 definitely a little expensive for what you get. Was disappointed in the bo cold foam for the coffe drink but it was still good 😊“

“We got to watch a deluge and lightning 🌩 storm from the comfort of our table at Applebee's near the big mall outside of Charleston WV. Delicious meals and appetizers and good company. Our server was nice and always ahead of our requests for drinks and anything else we needed.“

This place is absolutely beautiful. You cannot beat the view from their outside deck area. It's wonderful! The food was ten out of ten...burgers were cooked perfectly, onion rings were crunchy. Mozzarella sticks are delicious, they had the cheese pull people talk about.It was our first time getting up here and Hannah was so amazing telling us about their different specials and the events they do throughout the week. Definitely will be going back.“

“Went here for the first time and the owner behind the counter was INSANELY NICE. He showed me everything he served and let me take my time in ordering. The service was quick helpful and an enjoyable experience. The food is great. I recommend the cajun chicken. My only regret is how fast i scarfed down the food i wish i savored it more. “There is nothing negative I can say. The food was delicious as always. I had the fish and chicken with Mac n cheese and green beans. The green beans were seasoned just right. The young lady who took my drive thru order and worked the window was very polite. It was an overall wonderful and pleasant experience. Plus they were fast in giving me my order!!!“

“BRING YOUR ID IF YOU WANT A DRINK!! Fine place except it's ridiculous when you are over 70 and still have to show ID before they'll serve you alcohol! It seems somebody on premises would be able to okay an exception. My wife didn't have her ID and they wouldn't serve her. 76 years old, but nope. Ridiculous!!“

“Our server was epic and the food was good but saw a lady who seemed to be a manager of some sorts named Vera come out and verbally reprimand an employee that was working behind the buffet doing a really good job I might say ,when she told her that they were low on cottage cheese she talked to her very demeaning way and I thought it was the wrong way to handle it. I might add there's another incident with Vera was at the front desk complaining because she was upset that the wait staff doesn't have to pay taxes on their tips.“

“I ordered online for pick up , my order was delayed by 15 minutes for chicken tenders when I got home I realized they forgot to sauce the tenders and also forgot my bourbon beans but service people were welcoming just wished I got what I ordered“

“We play the National and state tournaments here for team trivia and sometimes even the regular Wednesday’s nights. We enjoy the different variety of food. The staff is very kind and can handle the amount of orders and refills to boot. I wish the setup allowed them to connect to a tv in the place. That makes it a lot easier. But we are happy to announce we got third at the venue for the nationals and 8th in the state and 59th the country. The Flair Chops are rising! Woooooo“
