“After so long we FINALLY decided to take a night for ourselves away from the kids. This was our first fine dinning experience at the highly anticipated Chop House in Charleston, WV. We received phenomenal service, and though the wait for our entrees was longer than expected, it was well worth the wait. I enjoyed the lamb chop lollipops with the BEAUTIFUL Beef Wellington, while my wife ordered the Rosemary Chicken. There were a few people that were making a lot of noise and distracting myself and my wife in the dining area, however they were also paying customers just trying to have a good time. I couldn’t have asked for a better night. Thank you for our lovely server that took care of us this evening! I hope to pay another visit soon!“

“Food was phenomenal and service was exceptional! Highly recommend!! However, I will caution you about the spiciness of the food - I can handle some heat but I should have went with the mild. My husband loves heat but the hot as they had was way too much for him. We spent a year in Texas and it was beyond Texas pepper hot.“

“It's not often you see a place rated a perfect 5 stars on Google. Believe the hype. Everything I had was the best id ever had. The spinach pie....omg the orzo salad.... perfect the MFin gyro literally gave me goosebumps. If you like Greek food you're an idiot if you miss this place.“

“Tried almost everything except the kitchen sink. Upon arriving the vibe you received was warm and positive. I ordered ribs, chicken and all sides except greens since none were available today. Ribs were flavorful and juicy as well as the chicken. The sides spoke for them self’s and all full of flavor and well executed. If I’m back in the area again, I’ll definitely make it a point to connect here and dine. Only thing missing in the pic was the sweet potato casserole. If you’re not sure about stopping, DON’T second guess yourself and have the experience.“

“I’m giving this all five stars because from all I can tell this is the best Pizza in Charleston, WV. Not the best I ever - but compared to other cities it’s a 4/5. The service there is great. I got the steak pizza and my friend got one but I forgot which. The horseradish was a bit hinted which was nice because I’m not super into horseradish but I can appreciate what they did with the pizza. They also gave a great selection of beers! If I go back to town I’d come here again.“

“Pretty standard American style Mexican restaurant fare, but in my opinion what sets this place above the rest in the area is their carnitas. That dish is ALWAYS delicious! Definitely the best around! Also the white sauce they give you with chips and salsa is really addictive.“

“Today was probably the 5th or 6th visit that we have made to La Roca's within the past year (always for lunch) and we are always pleased with our experience. The food, the service, the menu, and the atmosphere have all consistently been excellent. I am a vegetarian and I can honestly say the Vegetable Fajitas are among the best I have eaten (the Corn and Zucchini Tacos are yummy as well). The portion was more than ample. In fact,I had enough remaining to take home for another meal. My husband is not a vegetarian and has loved everything that he has ordered (he has never had any leftover to take home!). The staff is always pleasant and attentive, which is much appreciated. I have no reason to doubt that our next trip to the Cross Lanes La Roca's (and there will definitely be a next time) will be as outstanding as our previous visits. ??⭐“

“Stopped in and had an amazing lunch today! Even better is that they are family owned and dog friendly! The chicken salad wrap was so good and the Ruben sandwhich my mom had was amazing as well! Teddi greeted us with a friendly smile and was very helpful with helping us decide what to get for lunch since everything looked so good on the menu! We deff will be back!“

“The price for lunch has gone way up. My husband and I usually go where we can share a meal, but we love this place and have not been there for a while. So we decided to go for lunch, almost 25. $ for 2 buffets and 1 tea. I don't eat that much & neither does he. We usually go somewhere where we can split a mealand sometimes still have leftovers. Great food, great service it's just that everything is so expensive anymore. You can't afford to go out to eat. I love my peanut butter and jam sandwiches, lol I love China Buffet and will go back when I have a few things paid off. It was just a shock when we got the bill because the last time we were in there, it wasn't that much for lunch.“

“I go here pretty regularly mainly because the food is good and the staff is really friendly to me. She evens goes out of her way to acknowledge me and says she remembers me and ask how I’ve been. I usually buy food for me and my mom as it has all the things we like. I am yet to try the breakfast but I hope to remedy that soon. I haven’t had a bad anything here yet but you can’t go wrong with the hot dogs. It just makes you feel like you’re home when you’re here.“

“You should give this place a try for lunch or dinner. The food and service is super consistent. The sandwiches are big and the fries are fresh cut. I haven’t had any issues finding parking on Capitol street. Ray’s buffalo chicken sandwich is excellent.“

“First time in this building since it was Suzi's. I'm very impressed I must say. The quesadilla was amazing. The tacos I got were beef and the flavor was excellent. We also ordered Cheese dip for the chips and it was some of the best I've had. The salsa was great too. We had our food faster than we ever had at any other Mexican restaurant and the service was great.“

“Tudor's biscuits are great but some locations are consistently better than others. This location is usually good but occasionally let's us down. Still, in Charleston, it's second only you the Washington Street location. Today's food and service were great.Parking: The parking lot is small with limited spaces. During busy times, you won't find a place to park and the drive through line often backs up around the building, into the street, and sometimes blocks the parking spaces so you can't get in/out of a space“

“First time visiting this place! I have no clue how I hadn’t heard of it, but it’s a hidden gem! The food was incredible, the service was even better! The view blew my mind! It has a view of Charleston that is unlike any other! The atmosphere and service was just incredible. I will be back again! This may be my new favorite spot! “Best service and food in the valley,so it used to be,.. General Tso and crispy chicken were exactly the same except for the texture,they definitely are the same sauce, like everything else they've peaked and declined for sure,sad really, this was once the greatest food ever“

“My family and myself ate there Friday and this location is our favorite. We loved the meatloaf and my son loves the burgers. Our waitress was excellent and a nice young lady but sadly after our meal was brought to us she disappeared, later we found out from another waitress that that young lady had a medical emergency. We hope she is ok.“

“It was our first time visiting the restaurant during the Restaurant Week. We sat at the bar area and had wonderful service. The atmosphere was alright. The food was 50 / 50 interesting. The mushroom ball appetizer was big enough to split for two and great tasting. The short-rib ravioli was really rich and the better entree. The trout with risotto was pretty bland. So was the strawberry cobbler. On the other hand, the chocolate panna cotta was superb.“

“We stopped in for dinner Saturday evening and sat at the bar. Bartenders were awesome! I tried the new koala punch. It was fantastic... very yummy ?. We tried the new 3 course meal deal. Both of us got the sirloin, and they were perfectly cooked and huge! Only issue was the carrots were way under cooked.“

“I've been on the road for a week and hadn't found any decent breakfast - until now. Biscuit World knocked it out of the park with friendly service, cleanliness, food quality and quantity. I enjoyed a stacked (and I mean stacked) "Herd" biscuit. Large fluffy biscuit with egg, sausage Patty, cheese and a hash brown patty. It was awesome! Stop at Biscuit World when your passing thru Charleston. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!“

“We eat here frequently and the staff is always awesome. They have some of the best crew in the Charleston area. The food, wait service, and bar never disappoint. Even last week when they only had four workers due to management scheduling error, we only had an hour wait. Food came our fresh and correct in no time at all. “I love Applebee's and the food is great and fast, but every time I go there to eat, what I want to eat is gone for that visit and it's because I believe that the management doesn't know how to keep the stock ordered for the public. “Probably one of the best burgers I've had around here. The Samburger doesn't disappoint when it comes to flavor and satisfaction. The only negative feedback that I have is the service. They seemed to only have one person working in the front which resulted in a longer wait for our check, drinks, etc. Just keep that in mind in case you're on a time budget.“

“Me and a friend went and he stated that one bite of the burger with the BBQ and the union it was an instant 5stars! I got Buffalo mac & cheese, and wings and let me just say it was Bussin! The atmosphere was energetic but casual all at once, particularly because of trivia night. (We got last place but who cares). They have special weekdays dedicated to certain events, personally I believe it’s perfect to dine with family just because of that!“

“This is the second time I've been here to eat . Both times was good. First time a little better I'd have to say due to service. It wasn't as busy this time, but it took forever to get our drinks. I turned my stopwatch on my phone when she came back to take our order without the drinks. 8 mins 5secs later , we got them. My drink was horrible and my son's drink was too strong and wasn't good, he said. Vodka and very little redbull. I got something with way too much Midori .The food was great. Both times. I got the Greek quesadilla and deep fried feta. I forget what my son got but he loved it. Some kind of huge hot dog looking thing. We got the baklava and ice-cream for dessert. YummyThe manager was on the scene greeting all the customers and had a very pleasant attitude despite some light sarcasm I might have let slip my lips.
