We have great Thai options in Northern VA, so I was skeptical, but after reading the reviews and some saying it's the best Thai they've ever had, I had to try it. I got the Su Ko thai noodle soup, and it was delicious. It tasted authentic to me, and if I was in Charleston longer, I would've tried their other dishes. Definitely a thai restaurant worth visiting...
Great little counter restaurant, had the Pad see ew with beef. Spicy 2. Was very flavorful and had just the right amount of sauce and spice. Convenient location within walking distance from the hospital. Order at the counter and they bring it to you in the seating area for dining in.

Tied for first with first watch, Chow Thai is my favorite restaurant in Charleston. And it is mainly because of the Massaman yellows. It’s so good. I eat it constantly. With a side of bubble tea it’s a perfect meal. I cannot get enough and you get so much I can rarely eat it all. Bonus leftovers!
