Tied for first with first watch, Chow Thai is my favorite restaurant in Charleston. And it is mainly because of the Massaman yellows. It’s so good. I eat it constantly. With a side of bubble tea it’s a perfect meal. I cannot get enough and you get so much I can rarely eat it all. Bonus leftovers! The staff is so friendly and I have always had a good interaction with them. I’ve been 10 times plus and I am a customer for life. There are no bad items here either. Help me keep them in Charleston!Parking: Usually the free lot is available. But shrewsbury st offers metered parking as well.Wheelchair accessibility: You can renter the building from the street in a wheelchair.

We have great Thai options in Northern VA, so I was skeptical, but after reading the reviews and some saying it's the best Thai they've ever had, I had to try it. I got the Su Ko thai noodle soup, and it was delicious. It tasted authentic to me, and if I was in Charleston longer, I would've tried their other dishes. Definitely a thai restaurant worth visiting...

Great little counter restaurant, had the Pad see ew with beef. Spicy 2. Was very flavorful and had just the right amount of sauce and spice. Convenient location within walking distance from the hospital. Order at the counter and they bring it to you in the seating area for dining in.
Superb chicken fried rice! No additional sauce needed. Medium spicy was warm, but they do warn you of this on the menu.

Delicious!!!! Massaman curry here was one of the best I've had... and I have had massaman from a lot of places. Large portions, affordable, thick and creamy flavorful sauce! Yum! My veggie massaman was packed with an assortment of yummy veggies. They were not as crisp as I prefer, but the delicious curry sauce was so good that I really didn't mind the overly softness of the veggies.Husband got Chiang Mai which was very good and unique compared to what his normal massaman. It's not his new go to dish, but he is definitely glad he got it for something different.Parking: It is down an alley and not super visible from the main roads but easy to find if you go down the alley. Busy place in spite of its hidden location.
