I had never spent much time in Charleston until my internship for my masters brought me here. It’s been about 4 years since discovering Charleston Bread and I’m just as obsessed with it as I was the first time I bought a loaf of bread. Charleston Bread is a delightful bakery with friendly staff and an array of fresh, delicious pastries. Favorites include chocolate croissants, chocolate chip cookies, and cinnamon raisin swirl bread. The Charleston Sourdough bread is also popular and often sells out quickly. Most of the loaves are vegan, with a couple exceptions, and ingredients are well-marked.
