I have been visiting from the UK and have absolutely loved going to Charleston bread for the sourdough and the various pastries. I think I've been at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks, Charleston Bread is awesome!
I grew up in Charleston, I remember a time when the olive loaf only got baked on Fridays. I'd beg my mom to drive out to CBC and get a loaf. It was a special time in our house, we'd toast up the bread, slather it in butter, and eat a whole loaf in one sitting. I recently brought my partner to Charleston for the first time, we got a loaf of the olive bread. We ate the whole thing in the car.

Really excellent bakery that specializes in a variety of breads (obviously), but also carries cookies, biscotti, muffins, coffee cakes, pastas and more.The location is obviously a work space and it's fun to see various staff working on a variety of goods. I love popping by any time I'm in charleston.
