Locally Made Ice CreamThis is my first time back to Ellen’s since it was sold to new owners. I could tell that they have made adjustments and improvements to the space and menu. The ice cream is now on display in new cold cases. The serving area has been realigned to better accommodate the lines that form on the weekends. Ellen's serves some of the best ice cream I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. The store is so cute and welcoming, plus the staff was very kind and patient. I highly recommend the black raspberry ice cream-- it's absolutely dreamy!

I come here rather often and I absolutely love the place. The food is great and the workers are lively and fun to talk to, but recently I came in and was extremely disappointed. A middle aged woman seemed to have no idea how to do her job. I watched her stock the cones with her bare hands! EW! She also forgot my toppings on my ice cream, which she charges for. It was just a sad experience compared to what I had experienced in the past. I hope to get a better worker next time.
