We love the LBV Steakhouse at Mountaineer. We always get the petite filet and it never disappoints. It is just enough and melts in your mouth. I just wish a salad was included along with the potato. We always have to pay extra for the salad which I believe should be included as one of your sides. Overall, we love to go there.
Service was slow. Only saw waiter a couple times. Would have ordered more cocktails if we could have. My filet was perfect but didn't come out with the compound butter on it. Also didn't come out with a steak knife so had to wait for that as well. My wife's meal was mediocre and the shrimp cocktail was as well Was kind of disappointed
My server's name was Parker. The restaurant was busy and understaffed. The weight was long. I'm an experienced fine diner. A lot has changed since the post Covid. I totally understand two things that stood out. I asked for a Heineken. The server just placed it on my table, not even pouring it into a glass I had to ask for the glass Second at the end of the meal I received the crème brûlée and my server didn't even ask for an after dinner drink or coffee he seems...
