Food was so good, staff was so friendly and excellent even when it was super busy they made sure we knew that. I got a margarita that tasted kind of weird so I politely asked if they could make it frozen it might helped the flavor but they made another one, which tasted much better and didn’t charge an extra, that was super nice from them!! If I’m around there again I definitely go back to eat here, Fully recommended!

Speed was perfect, temperature was not too cold like many restaurants are, attentiveness of the staff is unmatched (busboy, waitstaff, managers; everyone pitches in), the food was perfect, and the pricing was amazing! Our family of 5 ate for $35 (plus tip). Highly recommend El Bandido!!

Kid-friendliness: Great kid menu options for a great price!

We just finished rafting and needed a quick filling meal. We were recommended this place by our rafting guide and it did not disappoint. The prices are low and the food and margs are amazing. Quick service, and friendly staff.

Great tasting food for great prices. We were honestly pleasantly surprised at the prices. Steak, quesadilla, taquitos, fajitas, and burritos were all very good. Seated quickly and attentive servers. My husband said he wasn't impressed with the house hot sauce (every Mexican restaurant he visits he asks for the extra hot house hot sauce and he said this one was "fine but nothing special").

This was very well rated, and may be the best option in the area, but we did not have a good experience. We were expecting basic Americanized Mexican food, not fine dining or anything. The place was cute inside and plenty of seating. The food was pretty terrible- the salsa tasted like straight canned tomato sauce and was very watery. The queso was liquid with almost no flavor and didn’t stick to the chips. Enchiladas Suizas had essentially no sauce, it was dry chicken inside with a few onions and then lightly damp tortillas. The chile relleno was smothered in cheese, but the pepper was soggy and weird and hard to cut. Refried beans were ok.

As far as the service- It was super fast, but our server seemed very confused when taking our order (we ordered directly from the menu with no modifications, I pointed on the menu at what we were ordering, AND I speak Spanish so I switched to that when he still seemed confused). We got the largest size margaritas but ordered medium (which was fine but we were charged for large) the sides were wrong, and they brought 3 chile rellenos instead of the 1 we asked for. We asked the manager to correct things when she stopped by and she brought the things we were missing. The bill wasn’t even close to correct- none of the prices lined up at all with what we actually got OR what we ordered. We had to write out our own bill for ourselves and paid that. At least it was cheap! Like $35 for 3 people to eat including margaritas- you get what you pay for.

Just so bad. I have no idea how this has high reviews. We ordered. They brought random stuff we didn't order. We corrected them. They brought the right stuff. Then they tried to charge random (way too high) amounts that didn't match what they'd attempted to bring us OR what we'd ordered.

The food is the same generic microwave-reheated stuff at every cheap mexican restaurant. Except the cheese dip, which is practically water. The beans were cold. I don't think there's actually any alcohol in the margaritas, either.

You can get a lot of food here for cheap. It just won’t be good, won’t be what you ordered, and won’t be what you get charged for.
