Gave it another try. Still far from what it once was. Quality of the wieners and beef patties is pretty low. The staff is 1000 times better than a year ago. May try again in a year or so, just no longer on the radar for a quick lunch.
First, this is NOT a sandwich shop. It’s a burger and hotdog diner. Food was okay. Very thin hamburger patties like McDonalds, maybe thinner. No fries, onion rings, etc, Chips only. Price is not worth the meal I received IMO. Employees were very nice and the diner seemed clean. Fountaine drink machine was down.
