We may be biased when it comes to Italian food. But we come from an area rich in Italian foods and history. When folks move from Warren/Youngstown Ohio they miss the Italian and pizza.
With that said, I ordered the Tour Of Italy from Columbo's. Includes Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo & Pene with red sauce & meatball. Wife ordered a grilled chicken dinner with sausage and peppers I believe (Didn't get a pic of her meal and almost forgot to take one of mine) Both of us found our meals just ok. Mediocre. Lacking any seasoning in the sauces. Dinner salads were just iceberg lettuce but the tomatoes were good and freshly sliced.
As for service and atmosphere, we loved it! Our server was fantastic. Also had a fella showing me some of the photos around the restaurant with some autographed. Restaurant was very clean and a cool Italian atmosphere. Restrooms, again very clean but in need of some maintenance.
This place has been around a long time. I believe I read the 1950s so they must be doing something right.
Update 07/3026
Alas, we went there last week and I was so disappointed. I know prices for all of us have risen but it doesn’t excuse the awful eggplant parmigiana I had.
There were three or four slices of mushy glop covered with a bland watery sauce that has zero flavor looked and tasted like it came out of a can and of Hunt with less taste.
The pasta was precooked and mushy too covered with the same tasteless sauce.
I will say the service was impeccable but that doesn’t excite the food.
That said, we won’t be back
This former NYer says to go for the pizza… absolutely delicious! Just had plain cheese and it was as good or better than pizza I’ve had in NYC.
The place is a kitschy, old school type of restaurant… a huge brick building full of 1960-70s old school decor and family pictures. Loved it! … a museum.
Our server was friendly and excellent.
Will stop back next time I’m in Parkersburg

Wonderful place
Love their pizza, my favorite!
The antipasta was terrible. Two slivers of ham, american cheese cut into triangles and soaking in dressing. Not like they used to make. The dinner salads are small portions of iceberg lettuce only, not a salad. The spaghetti was good though. My mother has been going there over 40 years and she no longer cares to go back.

Our waitress was amazing, funny as could be and like to cut up with us. Food was really good and the atmosphere was great! I haven't been in there since I was much younger. My grandmother was really well know there , and she took us there every time we came up. It hasn't changed and when I walked in a saw all the pictures hanging on the wall it was like a flash back from my childhood. Glad I stopped in!!!!

Their chicken parmigiana reminds me of my ex’s girlfriend’s chicken parmigiana…… horrible. Texas toast for bread sticks.

Fantastic place. Go here. We drove for over an hour to get here. It was worth it!!! The garlic toast is the only picture I have because there was literally nothing else left. We devoured it!

We were sat down and got menus. Other tables were filled after us - all got waited on but us. We left when we were there 35 minutes without seeing a waiter or waitress and the person that sat us laughed when we left. We will never go back!! Not our loss!

Delicious food and wonderful atmosphere
Ive been coming to this Restaurant since the 80's. The last 3 times has been regretful. Tonight was $102.00 worth of the crappiest food in town. I flat out will never go there again. It use to be the best and now its one of the worst.
