Always good food, and friendly staff! Atmosphere is clean and inviting. I only wish they were open a little later on Friday evenings.

The menu is misleading, plastic utensils, paper plates and a to-go container for dine in salad.

Food is okay. Nothing outstanding. We got buffalo and BBQ boneless wings and they were not our favorite. They taste like frozen wings you get from the store. Cheese pizza was okay, cheesy bread sticks were good, and the buffalo pizza was good as well. Would I order again? Possibly, to try some subs or some other things on the menu to see if they are good as well. Just a little underwhelming for what we paid for the food we received..

Not a bad place. It has a lot of potential. Just could use a few tweaks. Let's get into it.First, the positives:The staff were all very nice, in a great mood, and a joy to talk to.The atmosphere is very nice, laid back and mellow. The layout is mostly the same from when the building was Moe's, but that's not a bad thing. The dining area is well laid out and even has an outdoor seating area. The order area is interesting, even if it's a little backwards, (including signs that tell you to go to the back to order instead of the front). 8/10Now the harder part. The food. Which is a blend of positives and negatives. Keep in mind, I DIDN'T get any pizza and it's a pizza place, so this may only apply to the other food. The bacon cheese fries. The fries were good, but not as crispy as they could be. The cheese was delicious, but also burned to the corners of the pan. The bacon was crispy, good flavor, best part of the dish. All in all, good. But could be made great with more crisp on the fries and a little less cook time on the cheese. 7/10The pub cheeseburger. I'm a firm believer that the burger is a good indicator of the quality of a place's food. However, I hope that's not the case here. The patty tasted store bought frozen, with no seasoning. The bun and all of the toppings were pretty decent, like a burger you'd make at home. While technically there wasn't anything wrong with it, it wasn't great. A burger with the quality of Broadway Sandwich Shop for Hardee's Frisco price. My only advice is to make that patty fresh or adjust that price. 4/10Pizza pasta bowl. The pasta was tasty, and just the right al dente. The cheese was fantastic, just like the fries. The pepperoni was good, but a sparse. Only 5 pieces for the whole bowl? I was expecting a layer, or maybe some mixed into the pasta. But just 5? Disappointing. The biggest negative was the sauce. While it was tasty, and even had a hint of spice and heat that I liked, it was REALLY thin. With the sauce being so watery and the choice of noodles being cavatappi, it made it really hard to get any sauce to stick to the noodles or to even keep the pasta on your fork. Very slippery. My only advice to either really thicken that sauce or swap out the noodle choice, and throw a few more pepperonis in for good measure. 6.5/10Conclusion: Maka Mia Pizza is off to a good start on their non pizza items. While the recipes might need a few tweaks, the dining experience itself is laid back and a great place to relax. The staff are nice and courteous. The place is kept clean. And, while I might be avoiding the burger for a bit to see if things change, I'll be heading back before too long to try me some pizza.

Pizza was delicious. Hot when arrived at hotel. Good variety of food to choose from. Would be nice if when delivered to a hotel.....paper plates, plastic ware and napkins would be included.
