Everyone is always so nice and friendly.
I miss the old decor, the food is usually good & what you expect for an Applebees.
My food was good, and our waiter was excellent. It's not my first or second choice of places to eat in Parkersburg. I don't like spicy and the menu has a lot of cajun spice. I also don't eat crispy coatings. If you like those things, you would like the menu. My strawberry Margarita was yummy.

Applebee's Grill + Bar offers a varied menu with very good food. While the ribs are wonderful, the fries could use improvement. The 4 cheese Mac and cheese with chicken is overshadowed by the barbequed chicken wings' juices, making it too runny. The restaurant provides a kid-friendly atmosphere with games and coloring on the menu and is wheelchair accessible.
This location is a regular spot for many families, who visit approximately once a week. The service and food are consistently good, though not all Applebee's locations are as reliable. The atmosphere is sometimes off, with the hosts not always smiling and the bar area buzzing. However, the manager and servers, like the excellent Haldin, provide a pleasant experience.
Customers have had an amazing time at this Applebee's, with quick seating, prompt drink service, and tasty hot food. The Great American Burger, featuring a huge patty, bacon, salty fries, and a bottomless soda, is a popular $12.69 option. The restaurant is located across from Walmart in the Hobby Lobby parking lot and welcomes families.
