“This is my families favorite place to eat. Tonight we had really great service from Kristen. She greeted us quickly, our food came out promptly and she was right on with the drink refills. I ordered the broccoli chicken pasta and my husband had his usual the fiesta lime chicken and they were both really good. Thanks Applebees, we will be back!“

“Always enjoy dinning at "I Don't Care", especially during Lenten Fridays. Coleman's fish is always good. Haven't been disappointed by regular menu either. Good bar service, frosted glasses. Clean, always good, prompt service and the owners keep an eye on everything. Just a local hangout, but it doesn't disappoint. I'm sure I'll be back when in town!

Parking: Gets a little tight when busy.“

“This place was great. I had never heard of Logan's Roadhouse before. I didn't know it was a chain. Near me (45414) we only have Longhorn Steakhouse, and Texas Roadhouse.. I WANT A LOGAN'S ROADHOUSE NEAR ME! The menu had selections that were new and refreshing. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The place had a nice feel to it, the perfect atmosphere. Very reminiscent of a Ponderosa Steak House, but a new modern upscaled version with the home town feel. I truly loved this place. If one opened near me tomorrow, it would be instantly packed and making a killing. Let's get it done Logan's. I can tell you the best places to locate it!“

“We were here on a Friday evening around 5pm and did not have to wait for a table. The server took about 5-6 minutes to greet us but after that the service was great. The food was good, we had the cheddar bites for appetizer which we really liked. The crescent rolls were literally dripping in butter. The food came out in a timely manner and tasted great, except I didn’t really care for the green beans. My husband and son both liked their grilled chicken but thought it was a bit peppery. Overall it was pretty good.“

“For "our area," this is an upscale steakhouse, with a few dollars premium to enjoy these clearly appreciable upgrades. The atmosphere is very good, wait staff pretty good too. Food, being Parmesan crusted chicken, was beyond mouth wattering, delicious. I am bound to return, see if you agree?!“

“The March Madness/ St. Patrick's Day atmosphere was what sports are played for. The restraunt is brand new and everyone there treated like they knew me for years.All the games and the food was honestly really good. Highly recommend it.“

“My wife and I have eaten at the Dog Haus for years. The owner and employees treat us like family. The food, including desserts, is homemade and very delicious. Ribs are excellent. It’s your fault if you leave hungry, cause portions are generous. Overall a great place to have lunch or dinner.“

“I am not a typical bar person. I was looking for the best restaurants in Parkersburg and this place was towards the top of the list. I looked over the menu and was surprised at how many different options they had. I had the thick cut bologna sandwich. Wow, when they say thick cut, they mean thick cut. It was atleast a quarter of an inch thick. The downside was that it was just the sandwich. There were no sides. I this was a shame because the sandwich itself was over $7. But, I could not complain too much because it was very good. The sides are extra, but they come in huge portions to share with the whole table. I was in a group of 6 adults. The wedges were more than enough for everyone. Our waitress was great and was helpful with the menu. Some of the menu was a little hard to navigate, but she was great in explaining everything.“

“On our way to North Carolina from Ohio and we stopped by for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was amazing. The building is beautiful and the food really was a great finishing touch. Had quesadillas and pepperoni rolls with probably the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Definitely a must stop.“

“I came back to Marietta for homecoming again. I had probably one of the smallest rooms in the hotel, but as it was only myself it was perfect! I was on the 5th floor and had an awesome river view! I had absolutely zero issues during my stay! Breakfast in the Gun Room was tasty as ever! Meetups with classmates in the larger center suites were great! I will definitely be staying here again in the coming years!

Rooms: I had probably the smallest room in the hotel, but as it was only myself, it was just the right size! The ensuite bathroom was perfect. The shower was built for tall people and had great water pressure and temperature.

Walkability: Park your car. You can walk most anywhere in Marietta in 20 minutes. I moved my car twice, once for dinner Friday evening (Williamstown) and once for breakfast Sunday morning (at the Busy Bee - tasty!) in Harmar.“

“We are very fortunate in Parkersburg to have THREE five-star restaurants. We had guests from Columbus and went to Southern Craft tonight. We had no wait (WVU game televised), prompt service and superb food—ribeye, short ribs, burgers, salads. Yum all the way around. It’s now been two years since it opened and we hope it’s here to stay.“

“Sally and the team at House of Wines put a beautiful catering spread together for our anniversary party. All of the food was excellent with a great presentation. “Fantastic place! Very good Wings! I tinkered with the West Virginia's Wildest Wings, which were tolerable and while definitely hot, any true Chilehead should be able to handle. The bartenders, owner, and staff were great! Had a great time talking to other local customers at the bar as well. Too bad it's not in my backyard as I'd be a regular, but it's absolutely on the gotta-stop-in list anytime I'm in that area.“

“Every single time I have been at the Boathouse, no matter how busy, the staff has always been prompt to seat us and super-friendly. The food is always great and the atmosphere is what keeps me coming back! The only thing I would love to see is either the fire pits in use or patio heaters for the cold nights to add warmth to the fabulous views.“

“I will say only nice things for this Bob Evans! We ordered gluten-free, but didn't get it. The manager quite quickly took the meal back and personally instructed the cook to prepare the meal new. He did not yell or berate the server, but patiently explained to his crew what went wrong and how to fix it. Our server was very apologetic. After a long day of driving, this is the place to go!“
