“A group of us came for the 33 People band and we were very happy we did. The prices for drinks were affordable and the staff was really nice. An older gentlemen was helping me at the bar and he was very patient while I ordered 8 different mixed drinks for the group. The women's restroom was clean. Lots of space for a lot of people!“
“We started going for trivia on Monday nights. Rob does a great job as trivia host. When we are able to play trivia, the servers do a great job and the food is good. We don't play every Monday so I have to call to reserve a table for trivia when we do play . This week I called three times to try to reserve a table for trivia starting six days ahead of the day we wanted to play. I was promised call backs to confirm whether we got the table which I never received. When I called the third time (Friday before trivia Monday), I was told there was no room for us. It is getting too frustrating to try to get a table for trivia on Monday nights.UPDATE - I did get a call from Aubrey offering us a table for trivia after a cancellation. I appreciated that follow up and service. I am sure it is difficult to juggle the demand for tables on trivia nights.“
“I had not eaten at Doubledays for several years. The last meal I had there was less than good, and the service...even more questionnable. At friends request, I met them for dinner last night (3/20/2024). I was most pleasantly surprised, and from the inception of our seating, the server was TOP-NOTCH! Karyn Konicki is her name, as I asked her before I left. She not only recommended an excellent chicken sandwich, did not forget that I wanted a couple of the sandwich add-ons put on the side rather than on the sandwich, but was more than on her game at making sure that I had something to drink, checking to make sure my and my groups food was good, asking if I/we needed anything (several times), and was not gruff like so many servers are today. You have an ABOVE PAR server here! I travel a lot for work, interact with many servers at countless restaurants from Boston to Dana Point, CA, and this girl is far and away the BEST I have had the pleasure of being served by. If I were your managerial staff, I would not let this girl go anywhere else, I would cerainly take good care of her, she is a genuine asset to your eatery! SHE is the reason that I will make this a new regular restaurant to frequent, and will invite friends to do just the same.........and when I do, I will most certainly ask to be served by her and will wait for an opening in her section. With full sincerity and honesty, I thank you for allowing me to elaborate. Eric Davis“
“AMAZING!!!! Well I physically haven't been inside the restaurant. I have ordered DoorDash within the past 2 weeks and the food was beyond delicious. It's hard to find good restaurants on DoorDash, but I am highly impressed. But the buffalo chicken sandwich is the best chicken sandwich. I've had. My appetizers of pretzel bites, buffalo chicken dip and mac and cheese or to die for. Definitely give this place a five plus plus rating. Decent prices. Shout out to the cooking staff!!!!“
“I love what they have done with the old Third Street Deli, leaving in place the small town diner feel but freshening it up to make it their own. The food is great as is the service. Portions are more than generous as well. Gets busy around lunch, as this location usually does, but worth a stop in to try it out.“
“Went there today we had 16 people called at the last minute and these people said yes we can take care of you within 10 minutes. We took 16 people in there. Wonderful service they had everything ready took care of us. The food was great. Everybody was happy good top-“
“First time we've been in here since forever. Prices a little high, but fantastic food. I had a muenster burger with veggies. H had an applewood smoked burger with fries. Burgers were juicy, done perfectly. oh-delicious!! I haven't had mixed veggies (cauliflower, cabbage, carrots) done this excellent in a while. Will definitely come again soon. Ambiance seems the same to me, a blast from the past. Great service.“
“To be honest, Harmer, tavern is buy choice. The best place to chill to have a few beers and good food. Specially during the Spring summer and fall season. They have a outside patio with a very comfortable feeling lots of seating That is pretty lit and the type of people that go there. Are more about business then you're typical rowdy bunch. The best part is bartenders in Bakersfield. In the people that work there are very hospitable in pleasant. They don't ignore you like at dive bar. Honestly can't think of one thing I don't like about it.“
“Always enjoy dinning at "I Don't Care", especially during Lenten Fridays. Coleman's fish is always good. Haven't been disappointed by regular menu either. Good bar service, frosted glasses. Clean, always good, prompt service and the owners keep an eye on everything. Just a local hangout, but it doesn't disappoint. I'm sure I'll be back when in town!Parking: Gets a little tight when busy.“
“First time eating here in about a year or more. Everything was absolutely delicious! Started off with the Brussel Sprout appetizer. Prepared with Maple and Pecans, the Sprouts were tender and flavorful. For dinner, I selected the Salmon. Cooked to perfection! Exquisite is the best way to describe this dish. I could literally eat another full plate of this divine dish. I wish I had remembered to take pictures to post with it, but was simply too busy enjoying my food to think about it! If you've never been or haven't been in a while, please do yourself a favor and make the trip up to Devola, OH, to enjoy this absolutely wonderful establishment!“
“We had a great breakfast. The only thing I disliked was paying more money for the mountaineer bread. The breakfast came with bread so I don't understand why we paid extra for the other. Plus our waitress didn't tell us it was more.“
“What a pleasant experience at Austyns in Marietta Ohio. The steaks are excellent, tender and juicy, grilled to your taste. I like that the steak is served as a complete meal with a potato and vegetables, and drizzle of delicious wine reduction sauce. Staff is friendly and work hard to please. This restaurant is a real “
“I was designated driver, so I only drank soda. The group I was with love how Gator mixes drinks. Pool table was only a buck per game. They had a live band the night I went. They also have karaoke night. They have a Halloween party and costume contest last Saturday before Halloween.Wheelchair accessibility: Back entrance is wheel chair accessible. No ramp or stairs.“
“Went to the Easter Brunch. The food was very good. The vegs and Potatos we fantastic. The couscous was very good also. I didn't find any issue with any of the meats. Of course the desserts were fantastic.I would like to suggest some GF choices for those with issues with gluten.“
“Love all the events they have to offer. And the meals are always excellent, but.....the beef wellington is used little too much on the menu. (imo)..sorry, I'm probably the weird 1 that doesn't devor it, but with other choices it's always a win win........and we keep on keepin on and hope that we don't hit a repeat. We enjoy the river tremendously so the menu would never keep us away.“
“Being a southern of course I love southern food. On my first trip to Marietta I wanted to try their version of southern cooking. I knew I was at the right place because the local cops were sitting there eating when I walked in. I sat myself at the counter and was immediately greeted and was giving a suggestion of the best thing to try. The meatloaf was the special and it was very good. But of course I was gonna have to have some cake. I tried a few other pies first but they were all sold out. Typically a good sign. The cake was delicious but I am interested in returning and trying the other desserts. I will have to get there earlier! I got there as it was closing but Tonya was there and she spoke to me about my medical condition and was very interested. She was so incredibly kind. I was really touched by her character. I couldn’t say enough good things about her. I love the location. The street and the shops are adorable and well kept. Beautiful and clean city.Wheelchair accessibility: You can access the building from the street easily and there is room to put a wheelchair at the tables.“
“We go here once a month, tried something different yesterday, chicken pamesan, thought is was weird that the chicken was 2 tenders with the pamesan melted with the spaghetti, it tasted good none the less. That's why it's Country Kitchen not Italian Restaurant, service was great as always, we will be back in a couple of “
“Service was very good, staff friendly and server was excellent. Food was great, the ribs were the best I have had in this area and almost as good as Central BBQ in Memphis. All the food was excellent and looking forward to going back to try different items. Atmosphere was great except for one woman at the bar who found it necessary to laugh and yell as loud as she could the entire time we were there. Seems that maybe she was over served and if not for her it would have been 5 stars for atmosphere. Highly recommend going.“
“My first time in Marietta, Ohio and the river had flooded, water had gone in the hotel basement so we couldn't use the elevators, just the service elevator, the stairs that led to the basement smelled like fish the two days we were there. We were given the wrong room upon arriving (which was reserved last year, then called again in January to make sure they had the reservation.) They gave us another room, wrong room again, needed two beds, room had only one, we ended up on the 5th floor, room had a king size bed with a sofa sleeper. Didn't know how to get the heat going, which was the window air conditioner/heater, didn't think we had hot water in the shower but figured out the next day that the hot was cold and the cold was hot, we said something to the front desk about it but did not give us a discount for inconvenience. Other than that, employees were very nice, hotel had good views depending on where your room was. We had eaten in the hotel restaurant which was good but somewhat pricey.“
“Stopped here on a cold January day and it didn't disappoint. Local BBQ located on the Ohio River in Marietta Ohio since 2007. They have a very diverse menu- ranging from salads, wings, shrimp, soups, sandwiches to their BBQ platters. I had the grown up grilled cheese which had bourbon bacon jam, American and cheddar cheese and I added pulled pork all on Texas toast. It was very good and filling. They bring a selection of different sauces which was fun trying the different ones. We had a table overlooking the river which was nice. Would be even nicer once the weather warms up and we could take advantage of the outdoor seating.“

“Fantabulous as usual! Thank you for your hospitality? Great food and service what more could u ask for?Parking: Also up front Handicap parking available.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, high chairs and staff friendly to the children.Wheelchair accessibility: Upfront handicap parking. Not to difficult getting into restaurant.“
“Overall, the food was excellent as was the service. We both had the Farmers Breakfast. The food was excellent quality and eggs cooked as requested. Our only issue(s) were that the pancakes were undercooked and the sausage could have been cooked a little longer/crisper. My husband mentioned the pancakes at checkout just for their information and not expecting anything in return. She asked questions and, to our surprise, adjusted our bill. We would still recommend it.Wheelchair accessibility: Adequate number of handicapped designated parking and accessible entrance. Didn't use facilities.“
“Very nice Restaurant. The waiting staff was on top of it!We had the saw cut Ribeye. It was cooked perfectly (medium), seemed to be a Pan seer. There really wasn't any season to it. There is an option on the menu or added flavor, we chose not to add any.The Devil Eggs were great. One of my daughters had the Ribs, which were perfect as well.My other daughter had Alfredo. As with all the other food, it was Great!Definitely a must visit restaurant. This is on the upper end of pricing, so don't expect Cheap!“
