Iv been in west virgina about 2 months and I have tried food from many different places and this place the phillippi inn is by far the best food I have had in awhile if you find your self in the area trust me when I say this you have to go in and try there food it is a real home cooked meal very filling price is right and the atmosphere is just as good as the food and service I give this place 5 star rating that says alot for me to say this we're I'm used to eating in westerly rhode Island and watch hill rhode Island where there's stars like Taylor swift live and by far hands down if they were to ever try this place they would say the same thing awesome

Grilled chicken salad was ok but I didn't really like the taste of the chicken and my daughter's soup had 3 hairs in it?
The food is fantastic and the people are very friendly. Very affordable as well

The food was decent. The service was great, and the atmosphere appeared old and worn out. The carpeted floor looked greasy, old, and unkempt.
Parking: Although we had no trouble finding a spot, the parking lot is covered in wholes that makes it difficult for someone in a wheelchair, cane, or crutches to safely get inside the restaurant. Poses a walking hazard to those with walking aids.

As we were passing through Philippi they’re hardly any restaurants heading back to the interstate. The other restaurant in Philippi was closed. So, we decided to eat here. This place is NASTY & DIRTY inside! The bathroom is disgusting it looked they haven’t cleaned this place in ages. However, we ordered prior to going to the bathroom. The food was a little pricey and a lot of it was microwaveable. I will never be back here! DO NOT EAT HERE!

Don’t get the steak, they don’t know how to cook one, sent mine back 3 times and it just kept coming back out raw.—sign of a frozen steak that wasn’t allowed to thaw out properly.The Grilled trout though is a fantastic option if you like fish!
