El Pollon is fantastic! The food is always fresh and full of flavor, and the portions are generous for the price — you definitely get your money’s worth. The service is quick, and the restaurant is always clean and well-kept. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome every time. I had a very disappointing experience at El Pollon today. I came in and was waiting for my order to be taken when the man working the cashier (with a clear attitude) told me to ask one of the women serving food to take my order instead. She even told him herself, “If he’s in the cashier position, he should be taking it,” then, a customer who arrived after me was helped by him immediately! He was friendly and talkative with that person, but completely dismissive toward me. On top of that, there was an offer shown on the menu today that he didn’t include in my total. He was actually trying to charge me more than the advertised price and when I told him to put the offer he said he had no clue. Very unprofessional.
Edit: I wrote this review on behalf of someone I know who had a bad experience and didn’t feel comfortable speaking up. After posting it, two of your employees named Isabel and Pedro contacted the customer through social media, pleading and threatening them to delete it within 24 hours. This is harassment. No staff should privately contact customers over reviews. People have every right to share their experiences on platforms like Google. That’s the whole purpose of reviews. Especially when they feel unsafe addressing them in person. The review included a photo showing what happened, like many others do. We will not be returning.

I hate having to give mom and pop establishments anything less than 5 stars, but I always give honest reviews.
Tried this place for the first time and definitely wasn't pleased with the quality of food and the taste of the food. The dark meat was dry, the chicken within the quesadilla was extremely dry, the black beans had absolutely no flavor.
And for love of God, why did they put powered sugar on the beef empanadas, that messed everything up, the sweet and savory combo didn't work at all.
For a Peruvian establishment everything definitely could've been prepared better and go up on flavor.
I'll try again one to hopefully update my review and rating.
