Bought the apple pie, lets just say it's nasty! Total Wine and Spirits, would not be able to clear the shelves if they did taste testings of this spirit. Cheers
Very friendly and knowledgeable, with a wide variety of options. Everything we tried was delicious (as someone who isn’t a fan of most liquor, their products are genuinely excellent) and we will be returning to this off-the-beaten-path gem!
Drove out of the way to come here. Open sign was on and flashing, but they were locked up. No hours were listed on their site or front of establishment, but Google maps showed they were open (put in a notice to google hours are off in case they can update it). Called the number listed on their distillery site with no answer. Payed to try their apple pie moonshine next door at the yact club bar, and it was good. Guess they don't want visitors. Luckily, we ended up at Hatfields up the road after, which was awesome. Check them out if you end up in the same situation we did (or otherwise).

A fun stop in the Appalachians. Tom gave a great, knowledgeable tour and the flavors of moonshine for sale was great.
Didn't get to discover as we gave up looking for your distillery. Put up more signs leading the way....
No tours or anything the day we stopped but guy running the front did let us look in the back to see the machines and how it would works. Was nice to be able to do the tastings we ended up buying 2 bottles.
More moonshines than whiskeys. Two sample limit so choose wisely. The coffee moonshine is dynamite!
Cool little place, but they weren't offering tours when we visited. The moonshine tasting was fun, but if you make a purchase beware: they sell different flavors and sizes with different alcohol levels. This wouldn't be an issue if it was prominently advertised on the bottle, but since it's written in like 6pt font on the side you may be surprised (like we were) to find that the bottle you bring home is half the strength of the bottle you tasted! At best this is confusing, at worse it's deceptive. $20 for a tiny $375ml bottle is a lot to ask at regular liquor strength, and at 40 proof it's a ripoff!
Good Shine

I haven't tried all the stuff I bought yet. But it's a real cool.spot.
I'm not a big drinker but as I live in WV I felt stopping at a place that makes moonshine was on the list of things I should do at some point. I made a good choice with this stop. They have tours to see how it is made and a super cute shop. You can even taste flavors if you've never tried them before.
Great little distillery. Terrific process and finished products. Single barrel bourbon was aged 4 yrs. and was very good. Each of the flavored moonshines was very good also. Wife liked the Mountain Mud Coffee flavor especially. Great with some cream.... stop by and say Hi to Zack.
No tour, no history, no info at all. The guy behind the counter was unfriendly and could barely move! I felt bad for him! Very disappointing ?
Best place to go in Ripley very friendly make you feel right at home. Reasonable prices and you can always find something extra there. Love this place
