This was a delicious experience. It really hit the spot tonight. Ordered to-go and it all came out hot and fresh. They loaded us up on the sauces too. They really did a good job. The restaurant itself could use a cleaning but again it was a to- go order.

It was 2018 when we visited the Ripley location. We were driving home from Florida, stayed the night in town and we were so excited to see a Long John Silvers around! Never gave our dinner destination another thought!! Locations near us closed down years before, so we were very happy!!

A staple for my 19 year old college student. Its LJS, you get what you expect. Fish, shrimp, fries and hushpuppies were all fresh and made to order. Staff friendly and a quiet atmosphere.
Had an issue with the iPhone app. Manger was super friendly and accommodating and fixed the problem, and provided a free drink as well. Very hospitable staff at this location. Overall just extremely good people. Made my first time eating at this chain a great experience

So growing up, they told us to never judge a book by its cover, but in the case of this Long John's, you can absolutely judge them. For starters, the exterior of the restaurant looks dirty and looks to be deteriorating. There was boxes and trash thrown everywhere out the back door even though the dumpsters are a short distance away. Then when it came to the food, the fish had a off taste, something with the batter. The hushpuppys and rice oddly tasted the same, both tasted like a poorly flavored cardboard. The only bright spot was the service was quick and the person at the window was nice. Beyond the service though everything else about this place is absolutely poor.
