A family owned coffee shop where I can get my Saturday morning fix!! My favorite is the Iced S’mores Latte. There is usually a line to the door when we go in, so you know it’s worth the wait! It is a clean place & the staff are always so nice.
A great place for coffee, breakfast or a date. The variety of coffee is astounding and the flavor is wonderful. I'm definitely not a coffee enthusiast, but I was very satisfied with my Black Berry Cobbler cold brew. The staff are also polite and helpful with any questions you may have.

I've been finding myself in Ripley more and more for work. Let me tell you how amazing it is this place is open early! LITERALLY saved my life this morning. I got to my destination early because we had our first snow of the year, and was able to get this ludicrously good coffee to both warm and wake me up. You are doing yourself a disservice everytime you DONT stop in. Cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff is just the bonus!

Good coffee in a quaint downtown. Baristas were friendly and happy to make to order.
Honestly, the customer service is outstanding, but the coffee is pure perfection. I will choose the grind every single time and believe me I have tried so many coffee shops traveling, in our area Charleston, Parkersburg. There is nothing that beats this place; shoot I went there twice today and got a coffee. Thank you for everything that you guys do and continuing to serve the community with the best.
Small business all the way, however I had a bit of an unwelcoming experience today with a person at the register that I had not previously seen. I am visiting from California, and had been going every morning for a cup of coffee. I quickly stopped by today for a coffee to go while walking my dog, and I was turned away. The person quite abrasively raised their voice across the coffee shop and let me know that I could not enter with my dog. My dog is extremely well trained and flies with me often, so as you can imagine, was standing beside me quietly. My dog visits public places often in California. Needless to say, I was of course disappointed and ended up going to a Starbucks down the road. I’m here to support small business all the way, but I didn’t feel welcome from the person at the register today. For what it’s worth, after walking into Starbucks, my dog was offered a “pup-cup”. I guess my pup and I will be going to Starbucks when we visit Ripley! I will say that on the prior visits to The Grind, I had a lovely experience by the staff working at the time, and hope that small kinks like this can be worked out for other folks that may stop by while walking their dogs.

If you are looking for good coffee- this is the place! We were driving down 77 and decided to get coffee. We are so glad we stopped at the grind! The employees actually acted like they like their jobs and were so friendly. The coffee was amazing and the shop was clean and inviting. It is my husband’s birthday and he said it was probably the best latte he had ever had- blueberry cobbler for the win!

Anything you get is gonna be good, you can’t go wrong. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Even when they’re slammed busy. Best coffee shop I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to a lot. Support Local and selfishly enjoy the best coffee and snacks around!
I like there works are friendly and they will help you out

The Grind is by far the best thing Jackson County has ever been blessed with. The staff is always courteous and happy to see you, the environment is so inviting, and the coffee and food is to die for. If you haven't tried it I could not recommend it any higher! Its not a large chain shop its a smaller family owned jewel and the true pride of Jackson County!
