This is the first time I’ve ever been to short story brewing and I’ve clearly been missing out. We came for live music, but the bartender is KILLING IT!!! She has a packed house but isn’t missing a beat .. our beers stay full, our food was hot and delicious, and she barely looks like she’s sweating. I’ve checked out Short Story Brewing in Rivesville, Charleston, and now their (new!!!) Morgantown location, and I’m consistently impressed. The friendly staff, diverse craft beer selection, creative and tasty food, and the artsy/inspiring, relaxing atmosphere are always top-notch. Got to Short Story Brewing and the beer I wanted was no longer available. I ordered another and it was OK. My friend and his family showed up and ordered several burgers. I ordered a chicken salad and waffle fries 10 min after their order. I received my order but they had forgotten the chicken on my salad. I ate my meal and my friends still had not received their burgers. After 45 minutes my friend asked where his food was and was told by an employee, "it's on its way."...read full review
