They said they had a lot of work but when I walked in was only one table occupied! The tables were uncleaned and had to wait upon having a reservation. They cleaned the table where I was about to sit and kept unclean others that were empty something unusual in a good restaurant.
Service was really slow, but we had a 4 day on the job waitress. Food was not hot by the time we got it. Bartender or chef intervened and tried to help. I think the restaurant was overwhelmed. Food was good. Drinks good. Just was at the restaurant a very long time waiting.
The ambiance and service were solid, but had to send the filet back. I ordered medium and it was defi Italy well done (grey inside no pink). Reluctantly I sent it back and the next one came out after my husband had finished his entree and it was prepared the same. I didn't have the heart to send it back but I probably should have. Our waitress was sweet, but don't order the steak!

Chef Liza knows her job and is darn good at it. The bruschetta appetizer was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. The Brisket with veggies and mashed potatoes had wonderful flavor and goodness. The brownie, ice cream, and bacon caramel sauce was the perfect ending to the evening.
