“What an amazing gem that The Sportsman Tavern brings to our area! From the decorations to the pimento cheese stuffed pretzels — the variety of live music, block parties, the number game, Queen of Hearts board game along with tables having build in chess and checker boards! The owners, Brittany, Lee, and Dan are so welcoming and keep an extensive collection of beverages! It is an atmosphere that is unlike any in the area and the customers that frequent have all been such an amazing caliber of people! Everyone should keep up to date with the events here - they’re constantly doing something!“

“I like going to this place to drink a pint of good beer in a pub setting. One my frequent stops in Lewisburg.

Parking: The parking can be generous if all the spaces on the street outside the bar are not filled up. If you can't park there however, you can find other spaces near Carnegie Hall. The signs say 2 hour parking on Monday- Friday until a certain time. I've never really seen it enforced, especially when the people who parked in those spots are in the bars/restaurants. Those are really the only other places opened past 5:00 p.m. anyways.“
