Was excited to try this place for take out. Went in and place my Togo order and I thought I misheard her say 32 dollars…. I got a generals tso combo with fried rice and an order of rangoons…. Confirmed the price was right. Said no thanks and went to my other place. Same order was 13 dollars. No idea if the food is good but I’m not paying 32 dollars for it . Place was clean and the lady was very nice in taking my order.

I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food, especially the meat, and this is one of the few places I've found that uses very lean cuts with no weird textures. The food has been consistently great every time I've visited, and the staff have always been friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous, and it usually ends up being less than $20 per person, which I think is a great deal.

I couldn't wait to leave the restaurant before leaving this review. The food is phenomenal, I had the Mongolian beef. And there's so much I'll need Togo boxes! But the main focus is the woman serving and running the front, she is the nicest, hard-working woman. There's been a steady line, because of the great food, but her service is impeccable. I'm glad to see them busy and happy... and if you come here, please treat her with the sweet kindness she is treating everyone.

They're food was so good especially the Singapore style rice noodles w/rice was delicious I love it so good & yummy

I forgot how good Chinese food can be... recently ordered from here for someone who I was taking care of wanted soup and it was so delicious I came back two days later... I could eat their egg drop soup by the gallon. Every entree I've gotten has been superb and the folks who run the place are so lovely and friendly and nice. Thank you guys for being awesome.

1 star only because I cannot give 0. I placed an order for pick up via the website. When I got there, the manager was checking someone’s order to make sure it was complete. When I got home, 3 entrees were correct. The fourth was supposed to be chicken with cashews. When I opened the container, it was garlic shrimp in white sauce with cashews thrown on top. I called Awok to ask if cashew shrimp should be in white or brown sauce. I was told brown. I told the girl that I would be back to get what I ordered. She tried to tell me that they did not guarantee online orders and that the manager would have to call me back. I went back to the restaurant. The manager tried to tell me that they only had white sauce. After arguing with me, she changed it to brown sauce. However, when I got home the second time and opened the container, it was still the garlic shrimp entree with brown sauce thrown in. This isn’t the first time I’ve ordered one thing and gotten something different. It is the first time they have argued with me about making the order right (and it still wasn’t).

We will not be back.

I will recommend not going to Awok when anyone asks.

We absolutely love coming here. We always do that out and she remembers my children even if I don't bring them. So polite and friendly and the food tastes amazing!! Absolutely eat here!

Good place, the food is way better than the other Chinese place on German St. A little pricy for what you get, but overall good. Would recommend

Got my first and last carry out. I ordered pork fried rice and got beef, my egg roll was burnt, therefore I did not try the soup. The fried rice was dry, and I couldn't eat the burnt egg roll. And, it was the most expensive lunch combo I have ever eaten.

We have been eating here for almost a year now and have not had a bad meal in that time. The food is always prepared well and tastes great! The nice lady who works as the server always goes out of her way to make sure everything is good with us.

Crab Ragoon was fried to a crisp, with very little filling. Threw it out. The orange chicken was not fried crispy nor did it have any orange flavor to it. The only thing that made it orange was the half slice of orange on top of it! Plus they add a tip for a pick up order! $8 tip plus $1 convenience fee! Never again!

I recently dined at awok, and I have to say, their customer service is absolutely top-notch! From the moment I walked in, the auntie made me feel welcome and attended to every detail with genuine care. But the real star of the show was the orange chicken – hands down the best I’ve ever had! The perfect balance of crispy and tender, with a tangy, sweet sauce that was bursting with flavor. I’ll definitely be back for more!
