Food was tremendous, service with a smile, if you don't mind a little bit of a wait you will get some top shelf food!

One of the best restaurants we've eaten at. We will be making the trip back and won't miss this spot again. We loved the food and I wish we had brought a cooler. They had a fridge with to go soups, etc.

The service was VERY slow last night, but it seems to be a kitchen issue rather than a wait staff issue.

Pricey for small portions, but good food and good service. Food selections were interesting. Sharing combinations with table mates was fun.

Delicious Appalachian-inspired cuisine, including the best pies in the panhandle area.

Loved it , very cool lain back place with a good unique menu. I had biscuits and gravy with brisket in place of the sausage. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area

The food was unique but not as refined as expected. There were some problems with getting orders confused. Definitely recommend going and trying the deviled eggs if on the menu.

We had an excellent dinner at Alma Bea last night! For drinks we had the Red Sangria and the Alma Bees Knees, both were very good. We tried 2 of the cozy combos, the lamb shepherd pie and the seafood risotto, and both were delicious. Portion size was perfect and the service was excellent. We were they early and the place really filled up by the time we left. Oh, and the pies. They have a beautiful assortment of pies and we tried the maple and the apple, both were fantastic.
Place was clean, everyone was friendly, parking was easy and the food was great. Really a perfect dinner. Thanks, we will definitely be back!

Trying too hard to be 'foodie.' Our waitress busy chatting at the bar instead of serving. No salt and pepper on the table, exactly one napkin per person. French onion soup with duck meat?!?! Tasteless, under salted, overpriced. Half of brisket was fat, disgusting. Coleslaw on brisket made mush of the bun. The onion tart was a bland custard soaked in the dressing from the accompanying kale salad. Here's a thought: serve salad in a separate bowl. We decided to forego dessert based on our experience with the rest of the food. Not a place we'll return to or recommend.

I stopped in tonight (Wednesday, Nov 5. Not all that busy.) to try this place for the first time. I was seated quickly by a very pleasant young woman. And that was my last human contact for more than 25 minutes. I had to wait at the host stand to turn in my menus. I got a sad face as I left, and asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, but that was it. No, I wanted at a minimum to be acknowledged. I have no idea what the food is like-I went to the Bavarian Inn, and had a very nice meal.
