Bavarian Inn, Resort and Brewing Company

We love this place! The food in the restaurant is excellent. All the staff is great and our waiter Sam went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Incredible waiter.

Haven't stayed at the resort yet but the food and dining service is top notch! Will be coming back. Reuben Benedict was phenomenal, as was the german chocolate pancakes and sausage gravy I got to try.

I have not stayed in their rooms for many years but if they have kept them up as well as they have other parts of the Inn itself I'm sure they must be beautiful. On my 11/2/24 visit the Inn is still historically charmingl with many modern touches and their restaurant and the new areas associated with their brewery are lovely.

Nearby activities: Lots of nearby activities including hiking shopping etc

Food and drinks: Food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful! I especially enjoyed their seasonal Pumpkin White Russian

Noteworthy details: They now have a huge fire pit up on a hill beside the Inn where you can enjoy after dinner drinks and a great view of the magnificent surrounding mountains.

What an amazing time I had for a simple lunch of soup and salad. Decided to sit inside and hang at the bar as it was a little cool outside. The view are amazing and the food is out of this world. I chose the Cesar salad and French onion soup and both were amazing.
While at the bar TY/Tiana was amazing and o. Top of everything for me to include everyone else at the full bar and the main dining room

As a surprise for our newly married son and his beautiful bride we decided to get them a romantic all inclusive weekend at the Bavarian Inn. I had ordered chocolate covered strawberries to be waiting for them when they arrived. However, they arrived and checked to a room with no chocolate covered strawberries and only to be greeted by cockroaches. When they went back down to the front desk to let them know about the bugs they were told that’s to be expected when you are near the water. They gave them a different room. The conditions no better. I was so disappointed. Was really hoping for a great memorable romantic get away for them.

Before explaining the rating I do want to mention that the front desk staff took our complaints seriously and compensated us for our experience, otherwise the rating would have been lower. The condition of the room was not up to our expectations. The furniture was dusty, the walls were peeling where furniture was scraped across it, and the dresser drawers still had receipts and food from previous occupants. In the bathroom the ceiling tiles were stained and bowed by water damage, the shower caulk was covered in black mold, and the shower itself had buildup of pink bacteria from not being cleaned properly. To keep the shower door closed, instead of replacing the magnetic strip, the maintenance staff screwed in a sliding latch to keep it from popping open. They slapped a chunk of wood behind it to ensure that the latch stayed on but wood is not meant to be directly exposed to running water day after day and so it was slimy, moldy, and so soft that it crumbled in my hands. I would not stay here again.

Pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Food unfortunately is average, esp for the high price. It isn’t particularly authentic as far as German fare is concerned.
