Came in with my wife and son. We waited 20 minutes before we had to flag down a server to order. I thought i'm telling her what happened she looked frazzled and immediately took our order.Food took another forty five minutes to come out mind you there may have been one or two other couples in the whole building. For freshmade food this was horrible. My service was horrible.We asked for a box, didn't take a single bite paid left and yossed our food away immediately when we got home

We enjoyed our lunch. The sweet potato fries were delicious. My burger was dry and overcooked, but had a good flavor. The chef's accommodating my gluten sensitivity was greatly appreciated. My grandson got the pizza and loved it! He was charmed by the cup that the hot chocolate was served in. He was also delighted by the surprise at the bottom of the mug, lol! Will definitely return.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Shepherdstown because it has by far the best ambience and the most beautiful setting. The indoors room is a historic property with large antique windows and a high ceiling, and the outdoor garden is thoughtfully landscaped and perfect for hanging out on a warm day. We enjoyed out salads very much, which were generous and reasonably priced. On another occasion a friend ordered a Rueben sandwich and was not satisfied with its authenticity. However, we have always ordered the salads and found them to be pleasing and satisfying and a good value. We will be back!

If you're anywhere near Shepherdstown, grandpa you must've go here. The food is wonderful. The atmosphere is fun. If it's a nice day sit outback there's a trickling creek that runs through the back. I've been there many times and I've never had a meal.

My experience overall was decent. Service was nice and friendly. It’s a nice restaurant overall, the bathrooms are about small and parking isn’t super accommodating. My food was sub par. French dip tasted like reheated roast beef and at the prices they make you pay. It wasn’t worth it.
Great onion rings and banana cream pie. Owner was in costume for Halloween and handing out treats. Thanks Tim.

This is our 4th trip to the Blue Moon. We enjoy eating outside when the weather permits. The server we had was up to speed with drink refills and getting the order correct. Highly recommend
