This is our 4th trip to the Blue Moon. We enjoy eating outside when the weather permits. The server we had was up to speed with drink refills and getting the order correct. Highly recommend

One of my favorites! The food is fantastic and carefully prepared. If the weather is fine, definitely get a table outside. The trickling of the water and the shade of the trees is so charming and will bring an already great meal to perfection. The people who work here are wonderful and make everyone feel welcome. Simply, this place is a real gem.

The wings were excellent but the salad i got was not that good. It said Roast beef on a bed of greens. It was few shaved pieces of roast beef lunch meat on a bed of chopped up romaine. My husband got the pizza and it was also not that great. Our waitress disappeared after giving us our check. She was okay earlier in the meal.

Five stars, all day, every day! This place is absolutely enchanting! The owner’s vision for this quaint property was executed flawlessly! We are new to the area but have eaten here no less than five times. The food is consistently delicious. The staff is friendly and customer-oriented and the service is fantastic. Everyone is always friendly, always accommodating and just delightful! Today we ate lunch outside for the first time, and it far exceeded our expectations. Shepherdstown has a stream that runs through a large area and this adorable restaurant’s outside seating brilliantly features it as a central focal point. It’s great white noise so you can converse with your friends and family without feeling like you’re competing with neighboring tables’ conversations. We have tried a number of different dishes and it’s really hard to choose a favorite. Today our party had artichoke dip as an appetizer, white pizza, Cobb salad, and Beef and brie sandwich. All delicious!!!
Every meal I've ever had here was excellent, service exceptional. Only downside it is often crowded; so if you do go please be patient, but it is worth the wait.
