I am surprised by some of the reviews on here, because my experience was perfection, and I'm not easy to please. I was visiting Shepherdstown (again!) and came across this little gem. I was delighted to find so many wonderful selections! The staff was super friendly and very accommodating (I can be a pain in the butt), the atmosphere was perfect for a chilly day. My gingerbread latter was honestly one of the best I've had in a long time and it was served in a real cup (instead of the paper to-go cups). I had avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning which was suggested, and it was WOW! This place apparently has only been open a month, but they've got it down. I was also able to charge my phone, which was a Godsend. The ambience, friendliness and wide selection of good eats and drink will definitely draw me back when I make my rounds in the future.

Had a custom made breakfast sandwich and a pumpkin spice latte. Best I've ever had, will definitely be back. The tables in the back have power outlets and chargers for phones and the wifi is free. Great for college students!

Stopped in here a couple of times while on vacation. Their lattes are delicious! We got peppermint mocha lattes and loved them. The service was fast and very friendly. The restroom is very clean. It was a welcome little respite on a cold day. We will definitely be back here when in the area.

We were excited to stop in and try the rainbow connection! Love the concept and we will be back. My wife and MIL ordered two coffees and a cinnamon roll—all were delicious. I was super excited to see a place offering açaí bowls again, however it left me a bit disappointed. I enjoy the freshness of an açaí bowl and this was definitely very bland/processed—canned pineapple, mango and missing that island concept of fresh fruit. Not to mention—no real granola or coconut—it literally looked like a broken up nature valley bar on top. We will be back to try more and maybe stick to the coffees/pastries and check out their lunch items—they have a great mixture of things. Just disappointed about the acai bowls, was really looking forward having a good place close by.

3 visits and it goes downhill each time. I don't think we'll return.Avocado toast was pretty bad. I paid for an extra topping (egg, tomato, bacon) and didn't get tomato. Ordered coffee the way I wanted it (vanilla so it would be sweetened slightly) and the cashier told me just to use the creamer bar...which has only regular sugar that won't melt in an iced coffee.Got to go bagels a couple of day later. Ordered 4 blueberry 2 rainbow sliced plus cream cheeses. Got two plain (which is fine, but not what we ordered) and 4 blueberry, but only plain were sliced. It also took 20 minutes to get and the plain bagels were soggy and wet when we got home. ☹️

I’ve never left a review for a restaurant before, but I felt I had to in this scenario. The menu was nearly identical to the previous building to the point I assumed it had just been renamed until I saw the prices. Everything is so outrageously expensive! It’s $7 for two shots of espresso! That’s not a typo, I had to clarify the price with the cashier just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. No where in this town, or in this country is that a reasonable price for espresso—a plain 4 oz coffee. The food was also expensive and incredibly bland. I had avocado toast with tomatoes. There was hardly anything on the slice of bland and soggy bread that was so tasteless it took me several bites to realize it was supposed to be sourdough. The tiny smear of avocado spread looked and tasted store bought and prepackaged as it had no color nor taste. The tomatoes were ice cold and tasteless. I had a smoothie, which tasted fine, but was not worth $8. The only solace was the drip brew coffee which was an actually reasonable price and the only thing in that building which had taste.I’m not trying to be rude or aggressive, but this restaurant has very poor quality food at any price other than free, and I feel like I could’ve spent my $20 for a one-person light meal much more effectively at nearly any other restaurant. I would not recommend it.

I was looking for a place to eat in between classes and stumbled upon this cute little cafe. Staff were warm and welcoming. I tried a “pick two” meal option, which consisted of a half sandwich and a salad (although there are other combinations you can order) - and it was AMAZING! For a treat, I also got their gluten free chocolate torte, which was absolutely divine. The food and the atmosphere were definitely the pick me up I didn’t know I needed. Will be returning and recommending to friends!

Definitely the same menu as the restaurant from before. I thought it was a whole new menu but that's okay. The prices are a bit steep. $8 for a smoothie is a bit crazy. The nuts & jolts smoothie was really strong and bitter. The acai bowl I got was good but not blended well at all. I kept getting chunks of ice & at one point a frozen slice of banana. The only plus was the kind woman who worked there. She was really nice. Beyond that: I was definitely disappointed that I paid $35 for a bowl, a bagel & 2 smoothies and the quality wasn't what I felt it should be.

This place is so cute! The staff is friendly, the food is yummy, and the ambiance is, in the words of my 10 year-old daughter, “RAINBOW!”We ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee and it was all delightful. We’re camping and I was even able to charge my phone!

I’m so excited that I finally got to try this place! The two employees were super nice which added to the relaxing atmosphere. I had a vegan dinner. I’m not really vegan, but I can’t have beef or dairy. I was really excited to have a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk. My vegan meatball with vegan cheese on sourdough was soooo yummy, filling, and look forward to coming back soon!
