The food was outstanding! I ordered the fried chicken combo with Mac and cheese and cabbage with cornbread. Everything was delicious but the Mac and cheese was some of the best ever. The service was amazing and the owner was very helpful in informing us of some local events since we were from out of town. I definitely recommend this place if you want some down home cooking.

I was in the area on business, myself and a colleague. We noticed the restaurant as we were passing…so we turned around and this is gonna be the type of food (soul)l we were having…today! Upon entering the establishment we were greeted very warmly.We shared our thoughts about picking their place to eat. We learned a lot about the history of the restaurant how it was started. Also what goes on during the the week as far as entertainment in the restaurant on certain nights like...

Tonight was our first time eating at Sumthin Good!!!!! Let's just say this...yall are missing out on some of the absolutely best fried chicken next to my mamas!!!! This food was excellent!!!! So fresh and piping hot!!!! The staff were so kind and hospitable. My husband had the fried whiting. It was delicious too!! I was able to try a little taste! We will definitely recommend and we will definitely be coming back!!!! Thank you!! God bless you all.
