I’m in West Virginia for work and decided to try this place. Let me tell you…BEST meal I’ve had in a long time. Food was on point, fried chicken was the best I’ve ever had! Place was clean, and the woman who was serving was absolutely awesome! Would recommend this place to anybody!! 5 stars!!

The food was outstanding! I ordered the fried chicken combo with Mac and cheese and cabbage with cornbread. Everything was delicious but the Mac and cheese was some of the best ever. The service was amazing and the owner was very helpful in informing us of some local events since we were from out of town. I definitely recommend this place if you want some down home cooking.

I was in the area on business, myself and a colleague. We noticed the restaurant as we were passing…so we turned around and this is gonna be the type of food (soul)l we were having…today! Upon entering the establishment we were greeted very warmly.We shared our thoughts about picking their place to eat. We learned a lot about the history of the restaurant how it was started.
