First time in a long time. Used to frequent 1st Street back in the 70s. Was nice to get a chance to have some Dwight's chow again.

Great breakfast. One of the few places I’ve been to ever that can make my eggs right. Medium well for the win. We’ll be back.

Dwight's of St. Albans is a true gem for anyone craving classic comfort food. The menu is extensive, offering everything from hearty breakfasts to satisfying dinners. Their omelets are a standout, and the pancakes are some of the best I've had. The service is consistently friendly and attentive, making every visit enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. If you're in the area, Dwight's is a must-visit spot that delivers delicious food and great service every time.

My husband and I have ordered take out several times lately and have been surprised how great it was! Both times we had breakfast for dinner, omelettes that were most delicious! Good country cooking!

Small neighborhood restaurant. Basic home cooking, a little pricey for what it is.
Pleasant server.

This place needs bulldoze to the ground. It is a disgusting building rats, roaches , smells like sewer i think it would be an okay place. But they need a new building and new management. And probably a name change might as well call it

I ordered an omelette (it had onions, green peppers, bacon and cheese) with French toast. The onions and peppers were not pre-cooked so it tasted like eating raw onions and peppers. Had to take out 1/2 of them from the omelette. This really upset my stomach.

We had heard about it from a friend and decided to give 'em a try. They are a hidden gem. Extensive menu, great service, good home cooking with in-house desserts.

Just the cutest downhome diner, loved the food! Friendly staff, great place to eat! Very busy but when the food is that good, we can understand why!

Parking: Get there early, however there is an overflow lot to park in!

Small Town, home cooked diner feeling. One of those places that you feel right at home and know the food is going to hit the spot! Our waitress was very personable and helpful as well ❤️ I will definitely be back ☺️

Dwight’s is worst place I ever been. I go there for food and it’s just all wrong. First, the waiter person, he don’t even say hi, just stand there look at me like I’m dumb. I say, “I want menu” and he give me attitude. Like, I’m supposed to know what they got without menu? So dumb.

Then the food come and it’s just terrible. Like, what is this? I order burger and fries, but it look like someone sit on it first. Burger is all flat and soggy. The fries cold like they come from freezer five minute ago. They don’t even taste like potato, just like sad cardboard. Who even cook like this?

The drink? Don’t get me started. I ask for soda, they give me watered-down mess. I swear, it taste like they put one drop of Coke in a glass of water and call it a day. How you mess up soda?

And the place smell weird. Like, you walk in and it’s just this smell of old mop water and grease. Not clean, not nice. I want to leave but I already there, so I just sit in stink.

I ask for check and they charge me like it’s some fancy restaurant. For what? Garbage food, bad service, and weird smell? Dwight’s need to close down or get new people who know how to run place. Never going back. Ever.

Wheelchair accessibility: They will kick you out if you’re in a wheelchair because they hate those people

We had a perfect time at this little diner near Charleston. Just stopping by the city for one night during a road trip but we sure made a good decision to go to Dwight's. The food and service were both impeccable! I couldn't believe how stuffed the omelette was!
