I love going to this restaurant. It's a great local place to eat and the food is always great! I love the choices they have in the menu. Glad to have this restaurant in our community.

Speaking for myself only from the party of four friends. The steak was amazing but the order of mushrooms and onions came late and a charge of 5.00 for the small amount of mushrooms was a bit too high. The baked potato was still hard (undercooked). We enjoyed the service and the atmosphere of the Vault. We enjoyed ourselves and we didn't have to wait long for our food.

The Vault is a very nice little restaurant in an old bank building. The vault is the wine cellar. I had the 8oz filet. Steak was cooked as ordered and tasty. The baked potato was good but could have been hotter . Asparagus was tender and good, too. The bread served with rosemary butter was very good. The house pilot noir was delicious with a generous pour. Excellent service. We will go back again.

Visited on a Sunday, approximately 1:45 PM. There were 4 of us. The restaurant was empty except for one table that was finished their meal, and another on the 2nd floor. The calamari was just ok, could have been more fresh/hotter/crispier. The side Caesar salad was very good. I had the chicken piccatta as the main, it was mediocre - the temperature was barely warm, the chicken was just meh, the pasta a bit undercooked for my tastes, and the asparagus was thin and stringy. Volume of food was lacking, and the dish was overpriced.

This restaurant was a great surprise! The food and service were excellent. The prices were very reasonable compared to big city restaurants. The only issue was the glass over the table cloth that was moving all the time. Loved the ambience of the restored bank to be used as a restaurant. Will definitely come back again when driving to/from Florida.

Happened on them traveling up Rt. 19. Beautiful atmosphere. Service was excellent. Menu selection was great and creative. They even made my daughter a grilled cheese.
We had an early Sunday dinner at The Vault. It's our go to restaurant in Summersville when we travel through on the way between Charlotte and Pittsburgh. It's excellent food and service plus a very unique atmosphere in an historic bank building. Highly recommend.
Server was a sweet young man. Grey Goose martini was eh...very salty. Lovely garden salad and generous. Ordered a filet, vegetable and baked potato (which was the end of the night and the potato had been sitting). Very heavy hand of salt on all items, especially the filet. My sister ordered the exact same meal and hers was just as salty. We indulged in dessert as well. The cookies with ice cream were good. Note to chef on the evening of 11/18, gentle on the salt when cooking. We ate the meal, but definitely should have said something to the waiter. We were the last ones dining and it would have inconvenienced everyone to ask to remake our meals!

Everything was excellent during our recent visit (for Sunday brunch). Highly recommend! We're not local, but will certainly go back next time we're in town.

We reserved a table for 19 on a Saturday in August after our wedding ceremony. The accommodations and service were astounding. Communication from the Chef was amazing in preparation for our event and the food was delicious! Their timeliness and consideration for our party was extremely generous. We will be returning when we visit again.Kid-friendliness: We had a toddler present and it was easy to accommodate her.

Spit balls! They knew this review was coming. My husband and I made reservations well in advance, when we arrived I noticed there was one table with a reservation sign. That was not our table apparently. The host and only adult in the restaurant grabbed the menus and took us to the first available seat. The seat was right by the front door blowing in cold air , right across from the kitchen and right next to a pillar. We came here for the food and because the pictures looked really cool. Sitting in front of a pillar you couldn’t see anything. With our apparent lost reservation and poor seating choice, we decided the evening wasn’t going so well and we were going to skip expensive drinks and appetizers. While our meal was very good, other than my husbands steak being served rare, our server was attentive as well. When we were finishing up our meal, we noticed something falling and hit our table. It was a freaking spitball, that landed 2 inches from our food! Of course I notified the host right away. Instead of a manager coming out and handling the situation she made our server go up and tell a group of teenagers to knock it off. She even mentioned that one of the boys was a staff member! Within a few minutes, another one flew down! Disgusting!!! Speaking of staff,where were they? The host and the person cooking the food was the only adults in the restaurant While we were waiting on our food or lack there of, no bread basket, salad, or anything like that. We noticed several staff members waitresses I’m assuming walking into the restaurant and going back to the kitchen. There seemed to be a high school dance going on. Maybe they were off for that reason. The host came over and cleaned our table, but never once did a manager come out. Our waitress was very apologetic and gave us a 15% discount. The whole experience was terrible.
