This restaurant was a great surprise! The food and service were excellent. The prices were very reasonable compared to big city restaurants. The only issue was the glass over the table cloth that was moving all the time. Loved the ambience of the restored bank to be used as a restaurant. Will definitely come back again when driving to/from Florida.
We had an early Sunday dinner at The Vault. It's our go to restaurant in Summersville when we travel through on the way between Charlotte and Pittsburgh. It's excellent food and service plus a very unique atmosphere in an historic bank building. Highly recommend.

The Vault is a very nice little restaurant in an old bank building. The vault is the wine cellar. I had the 8oz filet. Steak was cooked as ordered and tasty. The baked potato was good but could have been hotter . Asparagus was tender and good, too. The bread served with rosemary butter was very good. The house pilot noir was delicious with a generous pour. Excellent service. We will go back again.
