Service was fine, can't complain. But a buffet doesn't need much service.
Went there a lot growing up and went once again. In recent years every time I've went I swore I'd not go back. This time I think I mean it for real. Ate the dinner buffet. The food is edible but that's all it is. And I'll eat darn near anything. Total greasy spoon quality food. Love the food service mac n cheese but that was the only thing there that was any good. Buffet was also sloppy and poorly maintained....read full review
I grew up with Shoney's but haven't been to one in a while. My family and I just came back from vacation in Pittsburgh and I asked if they would mind putting someone in the Shoney Bear suit for my two year old. They were happy to, and my son absolutely loved him! The food was good, but the staff really made our day by letting my son meet Shoney Bear for the first time.
