The Philly sandwich was excellent but if they are So busy they cannot clean the tables they should set out cleaner so we can clean the table ourselves. 😣

I came in to get a sub at the Vienna Jersey Mike's location. I was appalled when I saw an older looking employee with blond hair and glasses throw a dough ball at another employee. This happened on July 12, somewhere between 4:20-4:30pm. If this is how you run an establishment, that is insane. Not very hygienic or professional. This woman needs reprimanded. Very disrespectful of her to do that to another employee. Do you not have respect as one of your establishments rule? Or does this place even have rules?

The food was just okay. It’s so messy?
And the vibes
 awkward.
No thanks.

I really wanted to like this Jersey Mike’s because the younger girl on the phone was incredibly polite and helpful when I placed a mobile order. I had a few specific requests — extra toasted bun on the grill and extra ranch — and she was kind and reassuring, saying, “Oh for sure, we can work that out!”

When I arrived, my order wasn’t ready, which was fine. But what wasn’t fine was the atmosphere inside the store — especially the behavior of the woman who I believe is the manager, named Sarah. As soon as I walked in, she was speaking down to her employees, especially the young man working the grill and the girl who had helped me on the phone. They were calmly discussing that the grill wasn’t heating properly (already a red flag), and Sarah immediately started belittling them in front of customers.

I watched her treat that young man like he was completely incompetent. He had my bun prepped with the extra ranch, just like I requested, and she told him to throw it away — even though it looked totally fine. He remade it and was trying to toast the bun per my order, and she berated him again, asking, “What are you doing? Don’t do that,” and took the bun off the grill. I had to politely step in and say that’s exactly what I had requested. She rolled her eyes at me, slapped the bun back on the grill, and walked away with an attitude.

The only decent thing she did was give me a side of ranch. But by the time I got home, my “fresh off the grill” sub was barely warm. I had to microwave it just to make it edible. Clearly, the grill wasn’t working properly, which they were well aware of but didn’t mention to me. If your equipment isn’t working, you either need to let customers know up front and expect a delay, or pause service until it’s fixed. Instead, they served me something borderline cold and hoped no one would notice.

The food was disappointing, but the service was what really ruined it. Watching Sarah disrespect her team like that was uncomfortable and upsetting. I could see how disheartened the staff looked, but they clearly couldn’t say anything without fear of consequences. Not only is that bad leadership, it creates a toxic work environment. I genuinely feel bad for the team having to work under someone like that.

I have never had a problem with the way they make my Sub. The customer service is great. I would say one of the best sub shops in Vienna.

Order BLT but held off the bacon and added pickle, may I say these pickles were the most scrumptious most fresh and most juicy pickleloins that ever hit my tongue

We love this Jersey Mike’s location! We travel an hour both ways just for the sandwiches. The staff is very friendly. The best part of the experience is the bumpin playlists they play in the store. We always “dine-in” for the full experience.

Unique subs, packed with veggies and meat more than most places. Been here a couple times. Best place for a cold sub for sure! Prices are a bit high, but the cream soda at the fountain is totally worth it.
