Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

I went to doordash for the first time ever today 3/13/2025, my second order was for DQ of weirton. When I walked in there were several people standing in the lobby waiting for their order to be taken. A manager came up to take care of someone’s refund, stated that there were 3 managers present to the customer she was helping, and went back to the back. The poor girl in the front was trying her hardest to take orders, get them together, and cash people out, all while the cook was showing her how to put food in the system. The manager who helped with the refund then clocks out grabs her purse and leaves, with a lobby full of customers! I stood for 20 minutes with no communication that my order was ready, not blaming the poor girl that had absolutely no help, but the management staff for lack of team work!

Have been here several times that my blizzard was not mixed all the way through. I went back like 3 separate times showing pics of how they're messed up and this older woman runs her mouth saying I'm lying for free food. Whoever that woman is needs fired. Several people have complained about how she is rude or unpleasant but apparently DQ don't care about customer service. I love blizzards but I will not go back since apparently they can't mix a medium blizzard right and this woman is a nightmare to deal with. If they get rid of her maybe ill try again but not til then. Was going to post a picture of the most recent "blizzard" but ot won't let me post a pic.

Update. I tried that link they left and could.not contact anyone. Surprise surprise.

Do not go to Dairy Queen in Weirton West Virginia. They do not have soft drinks to to a water issue. The want to up charge you for a bottle water, blizzard or milkshake. When it not your fault that their water froze

My husband bought me 2 little cup cakes for my birthday and they are terrible. There was hardly any fudge and no chocolate ice cream. Like what kind of dq cake is that. Not worth the price at all. I usually enjoy dq cakes for my birthday but not this year..

Only one notable negative customer service experience with a miserable, ill-mannered older woman... fabulous experiences every other time, however, with the other DQ employees ☺️Tasty food prepared correctly and efficiently--much appreciated. I went here 12/8/2024 at 1:11. I was greeted by who I assume was Terrie based off my receipt. To say she was miserable was an understatement. I had a gift card which I wanted to try to use and she got mad and said, “Don’t scratch these numbers off. The machine won’t work if you do.” She was referring to the safety code. Ummm ma’am those numbers are needed to use the gift card 75% of the time. She was moody about what I wanted, had trouble adding cookie dough to a specialty blizzard and then gave me them uncapped when I walked in alone. I asked for caps and a bag and you would’ve thought I asked for part of her pay check. I’ll be getting a tub of ice cream from elsewhere from now on.

*EDIT: The drivetbrunis still a bit slow but there has definitely been improvement to then inside. Service is great, food is delicious, restaurant is clean.

*So, so, so slow. I could understand if they were actually really busy, but usually it's a handful of people inside or out and it's still a 20+ min wait for food. The girls working the drive thru are almost always rude, and unfriendly. They cannot even be bothered to greet you properly or speak in complete sentences..."your order?".."size?".."next window". The last time I was there the girl taking my payment moved in dying snail mode when taking and returning my debit card, and literally stared at me with a blank, confused look, mouth open and eyes wide the entire time and didn't speak a word. I cannot figure out what is happening here...

Went through drive through, ordered 2 burger meals, asked for mayo lettuce and onion only on one and Ketchup pickles and lettuce on the other. Ended up with only tomato lettuce and mayo on both-no pickles no onions at all. Fries are cold and soggy. Paid for a side of gravy and did not recieve it. Pop has no carbonation tastes like straight syrup. Blizzard was really good though!! I really used to love this dairy queen in particular but after today I am so disappointed. :(

Went on a date here with my boyfriend, it was pretty okay. Took them awhile to get to us and gave multiple other customers there food before us, but who knows, maybe they had ordered in before they came in the store. They were pretty busy so no hard feelings. Cashier was polite

I love the food and ice cream! Great place for the family. Some times the order may take a minute depending on time of day, but for me it's been worth the wait every time!

Very busy place, but always good friendly service, lowest priced Dairy Queen I've visited also
