I feel so horrible to write this review but my family did not have the same experience that everyone else had. The atmosphere was good. The service was bad you could tell our waiter had not been the service industry long and you could barely understand him. I had T-bone steak (the first two options I asked for they were out of) and there was no sear on it. I was not asked how I like my steak. I complained about the steak (which I regret) to which they offered me another steak but it wasn’t worth it because my boys didn’t like their food either. The greens were over salty . My sons Mac n Cheese was very liquidity and his sandwich tasted like it was pulled pork not brisket that he ordered. Plus I got stopped because they thought I didn’t pay when they have the QR code right on the receipt to pay SMH. I had such high hopes for this place so very disappointing. We won’t be back. It was a waste of money.

Always closed during posted open hours. Owner is kinda rude and unapologetic. Waste of time

Food was very good, we had a little problem during our visit on wait time but they offered to make it right.
So all and all it’s a great place.

We were excited when we noticed Roscoe’s as we were walking down the small Main Street area. We walked in and noticed how nice and new everything was. The atmosphere was really nice and clean. We were greeted by a young man at the host stand, who was on the phone. We gestured to the bar we intended to sit at and he smiled and followed us with cloth silverware roll ups. When we sat down at the bar we were greeted by 2 young ladies, I’m assuming 1 was training but it wasn’t clear which one as they both took turns speaking to us and getting our order. They also handed us paper napkins wrapped silverware ? That was a little confusing to be honest because now we each had to sets of silverware 1 linen and one paper. (not an issue). We ordered water because we were unable to order 2 blue moons because the restaurant was awaiting their liquor license. (Not an issue). We ordered 1 sampler platter that had a sampling of pulled pork, ribs, and brisket. The sampler came with 2 sides, we chose Mac & cheese and collard greens. Our food came out very shortly after. The waitress sat our food down in front of us and asked if we needed anything else, to which we said we would like plates to share our meal. We waiting a few minutes and in that time we tried all of the food. Every single thing on our tray was cold, that sounds dramatic but it’s honest. (Except the cornbread). We waited several minutes for someone to come back. When she came back (without plates for sharing) we alerted her that our food was cold. She headed back to the 6-8 other people that were grouped in the back of the restaurant and they all scrambled a bit. One young lady came over with gloves on another 5 minutes later and asked if we wanted her to heat it up for us? No, we didn’t. We wanted hot fresh food in the first place, not reheated food… We left. I’m sure this place has the potential to do well with the right people working but they aren’t there right now.

We showed up a couple of days after their grand opening, very excited for the new tazewell restaurant.

Arrived at 11 am, their open time, were seated, ordered by 11:10. 1 hour 20 minutes and 3 drink refills later, food still was not out. So at 12:30 we decided to leave and eat elsewhere.

Very disappointing... server was nice and friendly, lots of other staff just standing around. We had high hopes for this restaurant... such a shame to be honest.

I’m very picky about my brisket and Roscoe knocked it out the park. Ribs were top notch, as good as I have ever had. I would and I will reccomend to everyone, you will not be disappointed!

We came through today. Got 2 rib plates. The Mac and cheese queen did her thing. Met Mama Rosco. (by the way she is classy and graceful) had a great time and a wonderful meal. They made me feel like family.
