I had to conduct several business ventures that would take me to Welch WVa. I usually research the location so that I am knowledgeable of the establishments prior to going. I saw Rosco's Soul Food had strong positive reviews. Today, a colleague and I stopped in for lunch. The overall experience is reflected in my 5 star review. The place was small but inviting. It was very clean, and the aroma from the kitchen let you know what goodness your palette was about to partake in. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My brisket sandwich and side of mac and cheese was spot on delicious. My colleague, usually talkative was quiet the whole time he ate if that tells you something, lol. Before we left, Roscoe arrived with supplies for the business and we had a chance to talk. He was very down to earth and gave me his back story on how he started the business. Humble beginnings and a desire to succeed was his motivation to be successful. He also informed me about his new location in Tazwell. I highly recommend if your in either area to stop in and enjoy the menu. Rosco, I wish you much continued success!!

Had lunch at Roscoe’s today. We had brisket, ribs, mac and cheese and greens. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the house made BBQ sauce. Nan and Roscoe were both very friendly. We will be back!
You can't ask for no more better homemade food man can cook some soul food collard greens off the chain and meatloaf to be honest with you everything is all good there hospitality in the people are awesome as well

In a area like Welch there isn't many choice so this place was a blessing. The owner an super nice and his testimony was a blessing. His wife served us. She was also very pleasant. If you go through the area please support. We had ribs,green,pasta salad, potatoe salad and mac and cheese. I recommend it all
