“Absolutely the Best Wings I've Ever Had – A Must-Visit Hidden Gem! Drover's Inn is hands-down one of my all-time favorite spots, and I've been lucky enough to visit several times over the years. This historic 1848 inn in Wellsburg feels like stepping back in time – the rustic charm, cozy fireplaces, vintage decor, and that quirky basement tavern create an atmosphere that's warm, welcoming, and utterly unique. It's the perfect blend of history and comfort that makes every meal feel special. But let's talk about the real star: the wings. Oh my goodness, they are legendary for a reason! Jumbo-sized, perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in sauces that are packed with flavor. I always go for a mix – the classic Hot for that ideal kick, Garlic Parmesan for creamy goodness, and if I'm feeling brave, the Atomic to test my limits (it's intense but so worth it!). No matter the flavor, they're consistently phenomenal – easily the best wings not just in West Virginia, but anywhere I've tried. Paired with their broasted chicken or ribs, it's comfort food heaven. The service is always friendly and attentive, even when they're busy (and they often are – reservations are a smart idea!). The staff makes you feel like family, and the portions are generous without breaking the bank. If you're anywhere near the Ohio Valley, do yourself a favor and stop at Drover's Inn. “First time to this establishment today. I just had to write a review. When we first arrived we were a little nervous bc of the condition of the outside deck and entrance but we decided to give it a try. I headed straight to the restroom….big mistake. I was seriously contemplating leaving after that experience. Smelly (like sewer gas smell not from someone using restroom), dirty and just old and run down. But the person I was with was already seated & placed drink order so we stayed. The waitress was friendly enough but we told her we’d never been there before and she didn’t bother to tell us anything about specials or the menu or anything. So we ordered. I got the club sandwich with house chips, the other got the Philly sandwich and upgraded to sweet potato fries. The food was fast to come out and we were pleasantly surprised how good it looked and with the portion size. The waitress did get us refills and check on us. As we sat there we noticed how EXTREMELY FILTHY the large a/c vent grate on the wall near us was. Looked like it hadn’t been dusted or wiped down in years. And the people at the table next to us were commenting on how disgustingly filthy the wood floors were. The gentleman said it looked like it needed degreaser dumped on it and mopped about twenty times over. He also commented how ashamed he’d be if he owned a place that looked like this. I agree. The place filled up while we were there and all the food looked amazing. I saw so many items I’d like to try but…. Although we were impressed with the food I’m not sure I will ever go back. Just too dirty for me. Such a shame.”

“This is a Cafe. No longer a restaurant. It's a video slot machines cafe, many different games to play. Lots of winners. We have a room for smokers and a separate room for non smokers. We offer free soft drinks and cold water. We offer free snacks as in chips, candy , chocolate ect. We sell an array of different beers for $2.00 a can. Come on in relax and enjoy.”

“I’ve been eating DiCarlo’s Pizza since I was about 3 years old, and I’m turning 55 today. With the exception of a year or two in my teens (crust was poorly cooked, often burnt), the pizza is consistently great!”

Grilled Chicken Dinner, comes with potato’s and salad and it’s so delicious all together. It’s enough to feed 2-3 people.

Gyro Platter, better than the regular gyro because it also comes with potato’s and salad and a large portion of meat. Also enough to feed 2-3 people.

We always get these two things. The gyro is good, but these two are a way better full-meal.
