it's in someone's actual house, there's a teenage kid behind the counter who is rude and half asleep. they have paper plates stapled to the wall as decor. the coffee is watered down and he couldnt tell me which was which lol idk what i was expecting but it wasn't this.

Coffee and atmosphere was great, but there are a lot of food pictures that they just don't seem to have there. It comes up when you search breakfast, but there's really only pre packaged oatmeal and cinnamon rolls. Hopefully they can put an actual menu online because the pictures are misleading.Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp to get up into the building.
Solid lattes, coffee and beans!! Nice to see a somewhat specialty coffee shop in Weston! The name of the game (as a former barista) is to exude a bit of personality when preparing the peoples drinks, just some beans for thought!

We recently road-tripped our way as a fam' from Buffalo NY down to WV to do some sightseeing in this area. We stayed in Bridgeport WV and ended up one afternoon passing through Weston, (about a half hour from Bridgeport), and decided to stop for the American Glass Museum. It was a lovely day, so we strolled though the cute town and came upon The Coffee House. This is literally a house that at some point was converted into a business, still with much of the general layout and charm of the original house. In the heart of the home is the order counter. The menu has all of the typical choices for barista-prepared coffee drinks. I went with a cappuccino with whole milk and a shot of sugar-free smores. My vegan daughter lucked out that The Coffee House had plant-based milk options, and chose an oatmilk cappuccino. Our son had an iced hot chocolate, and my husband a black coffee. In addition to the beverages, there were homemade baked goods in baskets by the counter. When in WV-Rome, you don't need to twist my arm to try a homemade sweet treat, haha. I tried the chocolate chip cookies and the blondie brookie, both of which were delicious, tasted like they came out of grandma's oven. Our son enthusiastically gobbled up a couple gingerbread cookies that went well with his iced hot chocolate that he also loved.There was only one person working when we stopped in, and he was fairly flatline, not overly nice, not unpleasant, just a meh' young man. I like my baristas to have a bit more bravado and charm, haha. But the drinks were well made, so certainly no major complaints with the service. We enjoyed our treats on the porch, which is enclosed with tables and couches. It was hot in there that day, as it was unseasonably warm outside with the sun pouring in, so about halfway through our goodies we moved to a shadier spot. Inside there was a parlor-like room off of the ordering room that had comfortable seating too. If you are in Weston WV and are looking for a full-service coffee house with some sweet nibblies, it is nice that cute little Weston WV has The Coffee House as an option.
