Excellent food and great service

Amanda Zima

since moving here, the Char House has been one of my favorite places. A friend from out of town and I had dinner last night and it was phenomenal. Our waitress Amanda was so sweet and kind. I decided to try something new (Chicken Piccata) instead of the Ahi Tuna and it was EXCELLENT. Might be my new favorite. I can’t recommend the Char House enough for great dinner, drinks and atmosphere!

Second time dining here. Definitely not as impressed as the first. Filet mignon, Oscar style was good, however both of our orders were not even warm. One was under cooked, but since we were with a group of friends we didn't say anything. The same meal a few months ago was very good. Not sure what the issue was this

On a cold busy Saturday night I'm glad we made a reservation. This was our first visit and won't be our last. It's a cozy and warm spot with a bar in front corner and some gift items for sale in the entry way. Once seated our server was amazing she gave us all the favorite menu items and plenty of time to make our decisions since we were overwhelmed to decide. We chose the gouda pizza as an appetizer since we saw every table had a pizza on it. The charcuterie board, shrimp and bruschetta all looked good. I ordered the special pork medallions topped with crab and cream sauce, my husband ordered the pork Chop. We were told we had to order the brown butter cake, they weren't wrong. Gooey caramel and chopped pecans yum! He had a pecan smoked old fashioned and I had a strawberry mule. I can't wait to go back and try more !!!

Food was excellent. Establishment is very comfortable. Only downside was it seemed my waitress was overwhelmed with the amount of tables and a little slow. Overall, great experience.

I never leave negative feedback but with this experience I ordered the pulled pork onion rings and a pizza the onion rings was cold the pulled pork was so dry I couldn't even hardly swallow it the coleslaw was so runny it like soaked the onion rings we received the pizza I understand it's brick stove Pizza but the bottom of the pizza was black there was literally no chicken at all hardly on the pizza it had chives and a little bit of dressing the pizza was not worth the money the floors are taped together the food is Bland would not recommend eating here the waitress was very sweet but the food is overpriced Bland and flavorless and when I told them my food was cold and Bland they said all sorry here's your check

My friend got a steak salad while dining in and it was sliced and looked great, HOWEVER I got a steak salad TO GO, it was horrible. Mine was not sliced 4 end pieces of fat and grissel. I called and they were not even apologetic. I spent $68 for take out. Beware of take out orders from this establishment. By the way, IN HOUSE steaks are $70. I would be very cautious considering the quality I received.

Food is average. Service was good. Extremely loud.. I couldn't talk to my wife without raising my voice. Extremely expensive for the food.

Nice place for a dinner for two or just a casual lunch.. obviously if you're needing more space for larger groups the friendly staff will gladly accommodate.

We went and had our lunch today and they do have quite an extensive menu for lunch, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, pizza, wraps. Prices are reasonable. Did have a cup of French onion soup, just hit the spot with a humongous cheese burger salad. I could not even eat the whole salad. I will be going back again!

I would not recommend eating here.. me and my boyfriend went out to eat here and we ordered (receipt down below of what we ordered and what my food looked like).. food was not great my boyfriend asked them to make his steak medium rare and they made it just rare.. blood was dripping out of his steak onto the plate, mash potatoes was under the steak definitely not worth the time/ money/ wait or anything. Their tea isn’t even sweet, you have to put a lemon into your sweet tea to even make it sweet. My wrap was definitely not good. The onion rings were definitely good but other than that I would not recommend going here! $93.28 FOR 2 PEOPLE TO EAT? And $65 FOR A DAMN STEAK THAT WASNT EVEN MADE RIGHT/ PROPERLY!! NOT WORTH IT!!
