Second time dining here. Definitely not as impressed as the first. Filet mignon, Oscar style was good, however both of our orders were not even warm. One was under cooked, but since we were with a group of friends we didn't say anything. The same meal a few months ago was very good. Not sure what the issue was this
On a cold busy Saturday night I'm glad we made a reservation. This was our first visit and won't be our last. It's a cozy and warm spot with a bar in front corner and some gift items for sale in the entry way. Once seated our server was amazing she gave us all the favorite menu items and plenty of time to make our decisions since we were overwhelmed to decide. since moving here, the Char House has been one of my favorite places. A friend from out of town and I had dinner last night and it was phenomenal. Our waitress Amanda was so sweet and kind. I decided to try something new (Chicken Piccata) instead of the Ahi Tuna and it was EXCELLENT. Might be my new favorite. I can’t recommend the Char House enough for great dinner, drinks and atmosphere!
