Coleman's Fish Market Reviews
UPDATE: I contacted the owner today and explained what happened. The owner apologized several times and assured me that is not the way they treat their customers. The fact that the owner immediately returned my call and not only took the time to hear my complaint, but also actually listened, tells me all I need to know. Original Review: I have been eating at Coleman's Fish Market my entire life. It's one of my favorite places to eat. With that being said, today I was stunned....read full review
Last 2 times I waited and waited, they forgot about me. Love their fish but if I’m going to wait the good part of an hour and never get it, that’s worthless. Will try again in a couple years.
I try to eat at Colemans every week. My bill is always between $20 - $24. Four of the last 6 times I called in for an order, the person on the phone said that they were not taking phone orders. It Saturday, June 1. You answer the phone, but you don't take phone orders? I work and have a limited time to wait in the special order line. Hire someone to take phone orders. Pay a wage that you can keep employees.

Coleman's Fish Market offers a delicious and value-for-money dining experience. The fish sandwiches are a highlight, with generous portions of lightly breaded, flakey fish fillets served on white bread or a bun. Onion rings are a standout, cooked to perfection, and are very popular among customers. Fries are hot and fresh, and the mac and cheese is soft and flavorful. The deviled crab remains a tasty option. Visitors also enjoy the variety of options like shrimp, Canadian White fish, and clams, which are highly recommended. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner makes it a point to satisfy customers. The restaurant is a tiny, to-go joint located in Centre Market in downtown Wheeling, with a lively market atmosphere nearby. There are two different lines with two different menus; the standard line is quick and the specially line may take up to 15 minutes to prepare. Customers can also purchase fresh fish and cans of crabmeat to take home. The building has a retro and cool vibe, making Coleman's a must-stop spot when in Wheeling.
