Ultimately we had gone for the special, filet Oscar, and were told they were out of filets. Then I ordered a garage draft beer and they were out of that also. I ended up having the spicy curry shrimp, which was very spicy. It was good but I would not recommend it. Desert - chocolate flourless cake with chocolate gelato was very good. Chelsea was our server and she is always amazing!

The food was generally good, but like almost every restaurant they need to learn how to cook salmon medium- rare. Also, like almost every restaurant in America people scream at each other. The noise level was so loud, my wife and I could not carry on a conversation. Otherwise, my wife's scallops were seared perfectly, the pear and blackberry salad was very nice. An addition of tuna and/or sea bass to the menu would be a nice addition.

Highly recommend the lamb chop appetizer. Perfectly prepared and great flavor. This is a gem of a restaurant to find in Wheeling. Can’t wait to come back to try more things on the menu.
Not only were the hostess and my server friendly and helpful, but Chef came out to discuss gluten free options from the menu. He could not have been more understanding or knowledgable and produced a delicious meal for me. When I am back in Wheeling, I will certainly be back to Elle and Jack's for another wonderful meal. Absolutely delicious food. Great service and very clean place. Bonus that it's walking distance to the theater. Make a very good whiskey sour. Husband's risotto was the best I've ever had. Made my filet just the way I ordered it and it was scrumptious. Definitely would go back.

Man the drinks were terrible Hubby and I both ordered the petite filet it was just basic. The fosters banana dessert was perfect. I won’t go back the waitress didn’t seem to mind that I wasn’t happy with my 1st drink.
