Amazing as always. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly and was super helpful with my girlfriend's dairy allergy. I also greatly appreciated the chef himself coming out to let her know the dairy allergy wouldn't be an issue. It was her first time there and she was amazed. And the food? Incredible as always. She LOVED the scallops, the lamp pops were delicious and my burger hit the spot. And the creme bruhle? Exquisite. Thank you! 12/10 would recommend.

Unique dishes that you don't find very often - the Moroccan lamb with risotto was delicious. So was the shrimp diablo, with homemade linguini. We always have a good meal here, without exception. Would recommend without reservation. Only caveat - if you want a quiet experience, stay away from high traffic hours on the weekend.

When traveling I like to try local places when able. I’ve found myself in Wheeling to photograph the Cathedral. Anyway, I stopped in for dinner, was seated quickly and water received immediately. I kept it simple and just had the burger with fries. It was cooked perfectly and arrived pretty quickly. (This place is not a burger joint, the have options, such as lamb for example.)
Chelsey was my server, she did great as well. Would definitely return if I found myself in Wheeling again!

The “noise” is only attributed to a delicious food offering and happy customers enjoying themselves. This was our second visit, an experience we proudly share with our of town guests. How could anyone be disappointed?

As always, I love this place! The food is always so good. I got the gnocchi special, and the gnocchi was great. The sauce was a little thin, and that didn't really go with the dish it was served with. I added chicken to my dish, and it was perfectly cooked. My server was somewhat quiet and not completely attentive with our table. She didn't really check back with us often, and I do expect more when I eat here. Typically my service is always excellent!

Food was delicious and the wine selection was excellent. A little disappointed they were out of scallops.....the warm blue cheese dip was delicious! Can't wait to go back!

I had pantoasted salmon w couscous it was delicious. My husband had the lemon pasta w shrimp which he enjoyed. Started w charcuterie board which was very good and plentiful. It was a great dinner and by far the best we have enjoyed at E & J's. I highly recommend

Drinks were great, The Mussels Diablo were delicious, the Seared Scallops with Asparagus and Risotta were amazing, and the Braised Lamb Shank just fell off the bone, so tender and delicious; and the Saffron Risotta was equally as delicious. Unfortunately we did not have room left for desserts...next time. Very nice atmosphere to enjoy each other's company.
