If you look online the menu says they have ribs brisket sandwiches and other stuff but all they actually sell is overpriced hamburgers...

My main concern about route 88 burgers is the cleanliness. I watched a cook come from outside not wash his hands rub the black gloves together in his hands and then put them on with out washing prepare a meal and then served it.. so much improper food handling was going on there. It was crazy. Can’t believe no one has complained to the health department or this establishment.. as we were pulling out of the establishment, he was outside again, smoking a cigarette and playing on his phone glad he was not change the trash. Sad part that hes was not a kid he was a man that should be able to follow proper procedures, like washing his hands before putting on gloves and serving food a lot of elderly people go in there and so do a lot of young kids.

This is the first time that we've visited Route 88 Burgers and Brew during the summer. The food, as always, was delicious, but this time we sat outside. Oglebay is beautiful and peaceful. A few people were enjoying the driving range and the par 3 golf. A few were also around the fire pit. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches. Oglebay has also installed a bar area with seating on the deck for customers to enjoy.

Stopped here on a Wednesday afternoon in June after doing some business at Oglebay. Burgers and Brew, as it says. Not crowded. Views are gorgeous, and you can eat outside or in. Order at window, they bring it to you when done. Needs a little refresh inside. Staff was pleasant.
Only had a couple of beers but the staff was super nice.

Very simple little burger spot. The burgers seemed overpriced at first, but I can confidently say they didn’t disappoint and left almost no room for improvement. The staff was very kind and provided some complimentary drinks. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice big burger and some decent fries.

This is a great place to grab a burger, hot dog, or fries and a drink. Live music on weekends was cool. It is a very rustic joint but ended up sharing a table with a fun couple and had a good evening learning about Wheeling / Bridgeport area.
Parking: Smaller lot. No issue when we were there but sure it can be crazy during peak seasons.
