Visited , Thursday 8/7/25. Never complain, but the 2 salads ordered were Oh so , disappointing. Salads were not presented as advertised, with missing ingredients , and quality of ingredients were lacking. Our server did ask if we needed more salad dressing for both salads. The portion size was smaller than we anticipated. Hopefully, just an off night !
Where to start! Every part of Oglebay is amazing. Stayed in 2 rooms and house keeping did professional work. Every place we went to was clean and very well managed. The only issue that was had there was some others staying and the staff handled it properly. All around recommend! So much to see and enjoy :)
Amazing vacation. We had our family reunion here. We stayed lakeside Wilson lodge. Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurants were exceptional. We fed a cheetah and went into lemur exhibit at the Good Zoo. The 3 day wristband is worth it. My son had a blast with all the activities. My husband rented E-bike and did Segway tour.
