When we arrived inside the waitress told us there was no outside seating. We asked if we could check and she replied "There's nothing available outside.". Indoor tables were full so we walked back outside, into the outside deck, and sat down at two empty chairs.
In a few minutes the same waitress came out, noticed us, and went to wait on others. Finally her way was blocked and she had to walk by us. I stopped her and asked for drinks. Later I had to stop her again and ask for menus to order food.
The drinks were good and cold, the food was delicious and hot.
I'd definitely recommend this place as long as you don't irritate the waitress.

Honestly, what a wonderful spot to stop on a long trip. Excellent atmosphere, super sweet staff, and absolutely delicious food. A group of friends and I were coming back from a wedding in Baltimore, and we stopped here for lunch on our way to Indiana.
I even left my sweater on one of the benches and did not realize way after the fact, and they were super kind and mailed it to me.
If you ever around Wheeling, this restaurant is a total gem!!

Fantastic food, great staff, and a chill vibe. My party of 3 stopped in for a late lunch, and enjoyed hanging out on the deck that we stayed for half the afternoon. Amazing food, especially their Fall/Oktoberfest specials. Great beer selection with lots of local brews.

Dietary restrictions: My sister is celiac, and my mother is gluten intolerant. I was out with my parents, and my mom wanted to go here to scout it out for my sister.

When the waitress told her they fried their french fries in different oil than in the chicken wings, she almost cried. I don't know if the owner knows someone that is celiac or just knows a lot about dietary restrictions, but the waitress knew exactly what to tell my mom to reassure her it was safe. They had several different gluten free options, including dessert. The menu even made sure to point out the gluten free beer on the menu. Would highly recommend checking out The Cheese Melt.
