So good! I live so close and have thought about trying this restaurant for years probably. Today my daughter and I finally tried it and brought food home for the rest of the family. We'll definitely be going back and the rest of the family wants to join us next time.
Excellent food and equally-excellent staff! They take time with you, and their pride is apparent. Our three-year-old granddaughter totally enjoyed her meal, and she loved seeing the planes taking off. We also viewed other planes and a helicopter. Needless to say, we will take her back!
My fiance and I just finished having lunch here. I had the all day breakfast, the home fries with sausage gravy on them, eggs, tavern ham, and mountaineer bread were all delicious!! She had the BLT with a egg on it and said it's one of the best ones she's ever had. Plus she loved her onion rings... $28 for everything, which I thought was pretty darn reasonable. Waitress was super nice and attentive. Will definitely make another trip back up to it to try something different...
