Man, this chain has just been going down hill for the last 4 years or so. All the remodels basically turn customers into the cashier staff. Refills are out the window, and speed of service is a distant memory

they r slow and the food is yuck I got a 10pc chicken nugget meal with large fry n drink my fries were half full and cold and old I took them back gave them to 1st window she said pull up to next window so I did they were waiting on me with a fry so I grabbed n goed got half way home which is 2mins from McDonald's and ate a fry it was still cold n old it looks like they added more cold old fries to the ones I returned so I called the manager maralynn she said on the phone she remembers me returning fries cause she dropped fresh fries for me but I was only at the drive thru once I gave them old fries for 30 seconds it takes at least 3 mins to make fresh fries she lied plain out lied and my friend just stopped working there and she knows maralynn and said she never deals with the fries she never drops them or anything other than scooping them up into the small med lrg boxes McDonald's in Winfield WV sucks

Restaurant #17996 ORDER: #1314Used the drive thru this evening 1/26/24. Receipt says 5:20pm. Order total was $20.59The fries were terrible and cold! Took them back inside to get fresh hot fries. The girl at counter was very rude, & curt, after getting the fresh fries that I should have gotten to begin with, she very rudely slammed them down on the counter and turned around and stomped off. No “sorry about that” no nothing! Very very rude. Will NOT be using this McDonald’s again. It’ll be Wendy’s from now on or I’ll drive to Teays Valley or Hurricane in the future. Winfield McDonald’s is failing in customer service in a bad way! Shame. Cashier was also very rude.

Foods pretty good but I've never seen a slower drive thru experience. Came by at like 4:15, low traffic time of day for these places, and I had to be the FIFTH person pulled over to the waiting spots, like all 5 of us waiting simultaneously. I can go inside and get quick service, but I saw the line was super short so I risked the drive thru. It doesn't make sense to me honestly...
