I'm normally not one to do this but I think its best people know this before eating here. The first thing I noticed was that the tables they served you on almost all rocked and were not stable causing a buddies drink to spill. The service was impacted by the nearly hour wait for food and the fact that the servers didn't have the best English which makes communication very hard. The food was average at best, which leads me to price. The prices were so high they made some fancy restaurants look cheap. 4 bucks for a drink with only one refill, 15 bucks for an okay burger and fries, 17 bucks for a chicken salad, 9 bucks to add a patty to your burger. These prices are unsustainable for such a small business to keep customers coming, they are just hoping a praying that travelers will stop by or something cause I wouldn't go back unless there was a significant drop in price or a significant increase in all around quality.

Arranged to have a private party weeks in advance. Ordered prime rib for the group. Salt River Grill didn’t get the prime rib and wanted us all to eat the steaks they had on hand. Seated 3 large tables of other guests in the same room we had reserved. One member of the group got super sick after eating. Not planning to ever go back.

Food was ok. Service was awful. Seen the waiters twice once when she took the order and once when she set the food down. No refills on drink nothing. Wouldn't recommend way better places in town. And it is way over priced for what you get

My family and I went in to eat and had realized we only had 10 minutes to order breakfast so we decided on lunch. Then we’re informed we have to wait the 10 minutes to order lunch. So we did. After 15 minutes of sitting there and it was time for us to order, our waitress never came by. When she finally did she asked if we were ready to order we said yes then she just walked away and never returned. We then proceeded to wait another 10 minutes and still no waitress. We had noticed her filling the tables coffees around us so we got up and went to pay for our drinks. She said we didn’t have to pay for our drinks, knowing she had given us awful service. Will never return to this restaurant.

Drove up from Salt Lake to adopt a dog in Thayne and by the time we were headed out of town it was pretty late. Salt River Grill was one of the very few places still open. Stopped in and grabbed a few burgers with fries. The food was awesome and the staff was very nice and polite. It was about $10-$15 per person but we didn't complain considering there were no other food options between Afton and Evanston aside from truckstop pizza in Cokeville. We'll definitely stop in again..
Good food at decent prices. Family style resturaunt with a fairly broad menu. $5.50 for a side salad.

Definitely a stop you need to make! The food was delicious and the portions were more than average. I had the best club sandwich I've ever had. My husband loves the Mexican burger. The chef and waitress were both so friendly and inviting. Well worth the money.

The Baja salad was so good and absolutely piled with succulent grilled chicken. The bacon cheese burger and fries were also exceptional. Beautiful, clean and bright family owned & operated restaurant.
