“The #1 sleeper restaurant in Afton. The food is way above Afton quality, and I'm not trying to put anyone down by saying that; I was just that impressed because they have genuine, quality Japanese food.I got the bento box w/ orange chicken and it had fresh orange peel in it; the california roll had real crab; and I'm almost 100% sure they served actual wasabi, not the green died horseradish paste (it was more mild, had natural color variation and looked like someone mashed a root into a watery paste, better than any wasabi I've had), the rangoon, spring roll, and egg drop soup were great too. I also tried their salmon roll, and the salmon was FAT, it was super delicious. I would not be nervous getting sushi in Afton, it was fantastic.The menu has a wide range (sushi rolls, pad Thai, and classic Chinese dishes) but everything was fresh and well made that my party ordered. I can almost guarantee that the owner family lives in the back of the restaurant and eats all the food on the menu which keeps the ingredients fresh, as well as higher quality.I've been in town a couple times for work, I will be coming here every time I'm back.”

“Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Everything was fresh and delicious. We got fish tacos, shrimp cocktail, and coleslaw. The lady in the kitchen was kind enough to cook our cod in a pan since we didn’t want it deep fried. It was so good! They even have a “seafood haters” menu with ribeye steak, and kids items like corn dogs and quesadillas. Nice little fresh seafood market too. “We had breakfast here on a Sunday after staying at Colter's Lodge, and were a little skeptical at first but everything was so good! The hostess and waitress was very friendly, building was clean, food was good, great value, cooked to order with no issues! We both got eggs, meat and hash browns with toast. Coffee was good and she kept it coming. Would certainly go here again or recommend to someone passing through.Kid-friendliness: Lots of coloring pages on the wall!”

“We had to try another Mexican restaurant, our first was not that good, we are new to the valley. We just moved from So. Cal. Where Mexican food is all around. As soon as the waiter put down the chips and salsa just looking at the salsa we knew this was going to be good food, and guess what it was outstanding. We will definitely be back. “Love coming here year round! 4 stars, but only because sometimes when you order the hot chocolate they don't put enough cocoa in and its just water with a little chocolate taste, yikes!Sodas are always perfect, and their buttercream cookie is to die for! I love that the cookie is cold!”

“Salt River Grill is so good! I have three young boys that are full of energy and they have always been so patient and kind to us and our family every time we go in there.
