Stella is a chef extraordinaire! We picked Stella's randomly on our way up to Jackson figuring this would be your typical subpar country diner. WE WERE WRONG! We ordered the Stella burger and the French dip and were BLOWN AWAY how amazing it was. The French dip was by far the best and most delicious French Dip we've ever had - and we have had a lot of these sandwiches from "fine dining" places and they could not compare to Stella's. Everything was seasoned to perfection and the meat was tender with a bit of crispy edges for texture. Not the wet meat stack you're used to with a French Dip. The burger was thoughtfully composed with perfectly sautéed mushrooms and a delicious aioli. Not to mention all the bread is homemade! The ambiance gives you the feel of a small time bar but the food was top notch and could compete with any of the fancy restaurant in Jackson. We will for sure be coming back.

Odd atmosphere, but the food was delicious. I have to give only 4 stars on service because the covering waitress(didn't work there and was just helping out...so nice!!) was amazing since the main waitress called out sick during an insanely busy dinner shift.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch after a temple session. The layout is a little strange, the front entrance takes you through the kitchen to the bar/tables area in the back. We had the chicken Malibu and French dip sandwiches with fries - each sandwich was around $16. The sandwiches were both really good with a lot of meat. The fries were also very good. The fry sauce is mustard based so a little different but really good. The waitress was very friendly - we will be going back again next time we are in town.

My husband and I were seated and sat there for about 40 minutes before leaving. Nobody came over to take our order for drinks or food. When we got up to leave we heard someone yell "sorry!" as we walked out the door. Kind of like - we really aren't sorry and glad you are leaving. Weird way to treat customers We will never go back.

This is one of the only places in Afton worth going to eat and get a drink. The ladies that have been running the place each time I’ve gone are extremely friendly and great at their jobs. The food beats anything else nearby too. 100% will be coming back often.

This is my favorite place to eat in Afton. It has THE BEST food. I’m only in town for one week out of the year and I eat every meal I can here. It’s by far the best.
We travel 50 miles one way, a couple times a month to eat here. Very friendly service, including the owner. Stella's French Dips are a hit with our family. Although in a bar like setting, they accommodate for families of all ages. Highly recommended.

Me and my husband was in town for work and stopped in 2 times for dinner. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. We ordered our dinner with an appetizer, by time we was done with our appetizer our food was done. To top it off it was amazingly good.
