Must see
My Uncle drowned here after falling from an airplane, wouldn’t recommend.
This is nowhere near the Atlantic Ocean. False advertising
Worth the stop, nice people.

We went there for our 38th anniversary while staying in Atlantic City WY. The food there is always good, and the old west mining town atmosphere just adds to it. Their Aspen fired steaks are some of the best I ever ate. Just don't forget to call first and make a reservation.

A real surprise. Local place, very unassuming, but some of the Best Food - Steaks, Hamburgers we've ever had! Went here with 7 people.

We came an hour before they closed. There were several seats and tables open. We were told they could not seat us. After asking a few questions we were aloud to order appetizers, but the servers were very rude.

What an amazing place! The history alone is worth a stop, but a cold beer and a burger also are a nice reward!

If you’re like me and judge establishments by their taxidermy, there are not enough stars to hand out for The Mercantile in Atlantic City, WY. I’ve traveled extensively searching for pinnacle when it comes to rustic charm, and The Merc cannot be outdone. Beyond the aesthetics, the server at the bar was attentive to our needs and our lunch was fast and hit the spot after a day of blue grouse hunting at my secret spot (don’t bother asking me). I cannot wait for my next visit and hope I can make it in for a steak dinner soon, that is cooked on their open-flame grill seen in the photos.
